I was seen by dr. Cordaro in November for my foot, he tried to fix me but didn't quite go well, so I needed to see him again. And that's fine, plenty of issues are dealt with with a trial and error approach. The follow up appointment was set 2-3 weeks later, and I was looking forward to it because the pain increased, in the meantime. The same day the office manager called me to postpone because they found out a conflict. It's annoying to be rescheduled the same day, I thought, but OK. She said that she'll call me back to reschedule, and wouldn't make an appoint right there and then. Also annoying... 1 week passed, probably 10 days, and I didn't hear anything. So I called them to schedule this follow up again, and the lady says "oh I didn't call you because I actually found out that your insurance doesn't cover the treatment". Wait, I said, you lied about the reason to bounce me off for the appointment. And you do that because you assumed I'd not come back? you assumed I'd not pay for out of pocket expenses? That's unethical, to say the least, very arrogant, and non transparent. And then she raises her voice "so what you want to do now, huh? I can schedule you the first slot we have available!".
