Tried to make an appointment for a family member. However Staff/ Receptionist was very rude and hung up on me.

to those who wrote a poor review of the office staff you are the people with the issue the front desk people are so kind and go the long yard for every single patient. the only time i ever see them say no when its an impossible request and the patient seems very demanding. highly recommend this office and this terrific doctor agnes w new hyde park

Worst doctor I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with! Carelessness and incompetency are his better qualities.! Incorrect diagnosis, to which his response was "Sometimes I'm a knucklehead" and when mother was dying and we called for an update, his 'educated and knowledgeable response was "She is on the choo-choo train to heaven'...the receptionist, his wife, is nasty, rude and condescending. Terrible 'doctor'- should have retired years ago and left this position to trained professionals who are actually interested in the well-being of their patients. DO NOT GO HERE. The office lady will make you feel like you’re worthless. She is the rudest ever and should not work here.

Dr. Cordaro was the only person able to fix my medical issue after going to several specialists who failed to figure out how to stop my problem. I hope he never retires!

He has been our doctor since our Grandparents went to him in 1970. He has watched my sister and I grow up and his knowledge has brought us through many hard times. We would be lost without him.

This man is the kindest most caring doctor ever. I've been going to him for over 30 years. My dad also went to him, and I used to marvel at how dad would say oh thank gosh you're here when he'd show up in hospital. My dad was super comfortable with him. Having just spent time in the hospital with Covid, not only was Dr Cordaro there every single day including weekends and including the day I was admitted from his office, he still stopped in to the ER, I too said thank gosh you're here when he'd walk in the room. Mary is a God send, she is intuitive, thorough and can be counted on when you need her the most. The entire staff is the best and have earned my life long respect on how they handled my case with covid, when so many others weren't so caring and nice. Thank you to all, and I too hope you never retire.

I and my family have been patients of Dr. Cordaro"s for over 35 years. I have trusted this man for all my medical needs, he detected an issue with my heart and immediately sent me to a cardiologist. Within two weeks I was admitted to the hospital and had a triple by pass surgery. Had it not been for Dr. Cordaro's experience and knowing my health history the out come might have been much worse. I cannot say enough about this man and his staff. They have ALWAYS demonstrated professionalism, care and compassion. I pray that he will forever be our family doctor. I am a nurse. Dr Cordaro took care of me & my family for over 30 years! A finer physician & best diagnostician I have ever known or worked with.

After going to several urology specialists, Dr. Cordaro was the only one able to remedy my situation. He is very knowledgable and really cares to fix his patients ailments for them.

Dr. Cordaro is an extremely knowledgeable and intuitive doctor. His skills at assessment and diagnosis are phenomenal, and he is one of those "old school" doctors that is caring and thorough. He has seen me through many illnesses and I trust him without hesitation. Many don't know that he's also a "doctor's doctor", meaning many doctors and their families rely on Dr. Cordaro for his skills.

We are extremely pleased and impressed wth Dr Cordaro's medical knowledge and the care he provides. When our pervious family doctor retired and we were looking for a replacement. A friend recommended Dr. Cordaro and we have been going there ever since. We hesitated at first because his office was far from our house, but are so glad we tried. Dr. Cordaro was extremely thorough during the initial visits for the family. He checked things no other Dr.'s office checked and truly seemed to care as he made suggestions and gave advice. We couldn't be happier and the office staff has been pleasant each and every time. The care reminds me of the way my childhood doctor got involved. Yes, the urgent care places are convenient being that they are open on Sunday, but I really feel like a number in those places and I never see the same doctor. Good luck on your search for a doctor, but I cant' imagine you would be disappointed if you use Dr. Cordaro. Dr. Cordaro is one of the most knowledge and caring doctors around. He is a rare entity in a world where insurance companies dictate care in this country and most doctors lose track of understanding that this is a helping profession. At my sickest he’s helped me to regain health as well as many of my family members. My father passed a couple of years ago and he stood by him, myself and my family professionally, clinically and emotionally. He’s truly a master of his craft. Mary and Sylvanna have always been nothing but charming and have always had professionalism at the forefront of every action they navigate. They are some of the nicest people you will meet and always go above and beyond to help me. Truly a gift to have Dr. Cordaro and his staff caring for me. the Office manager is the rudest person ever. she has no business working in the medical field. she is mean and nasty.

I have been a patient for over three decades and a lifelong asthmatic. When I called for a refill for my inhalers, which I use daily, I was told I had to be seen because it was over a year. I was fine with it. Sylvana offered me a sick appointment the following day when if fact I'm not sick. I told her I'm not sick, just need refills, and will schedule a "well" appointment. She refused. How??? I use my inhaler 365 days a year and don't see a doctor daily for it!!! I asked to speak to Dr. Cordaro myself. She refused. Again I asked Sylvana to honor the refills and said I will schedule a well appointment. Being last year, the office charged me a copay when in fact it was a well visit. I was told "No, I don't do what you tell me to do,have a nice day" and rudely hung up on. Apparently, this office books well visits 3 months in advance. DID NOT KNOW! So I called back and spoke to Mary who was just as rude if not more. She knows I need my inhalers daily and has known myself and my family for many years. She said her office assistant was right and hung up on me too. Mary's disposition and lack of professionalism should be publicly acknowledged. I called back and made one more attempt to speak to Dr, Cordaro personally. I was told by Mary, "He's not taking your call this is what his staff is for, call me when you want an appointment!" I was hung up on again. This is beyond unprofessional. If you are a new patient think twice before going or if you are an existing patient I'm sure you know what I'm speaking of. Trust me the office staff is entitled. Dr. Cordaro is a great. He took care of my sick father for years, however, his staff, which includes his wife Mary, are not in the best interest of the patient. Let's hope I don't have any asthmatic issues or run out of my inhalers before I find a new doctor. I'm wondering if they would be responsible for refusing medication to an existing patient with asthma. I have been a patient for over three decades and a lifelong asthmatic. When I called for a refill for my inhalers I was not helped, Rather hung up on and given an appointment I can't make. Sylvana and his wife Mary are rude and DO NOT ACCOMMODATE THE NEEDS OF AN ASTHMATIC PATIENT. I hope Dr. Cordaro gets smart and revamps his office staff. They both refused to let me speak to him personally. I use my inhaler 365 days a year and don't see a doctor daily for it. He lost me as a patient.

Dr Cordaro is very nice and caring but his office staff woman, Mary, has attitude problem. She seem to hate the whole world and seem miserable doing her job. She is not nice at all. Even though I like the doctor, I don't want to deal with her attitude. I will look for other doctor.

Great internist as well as a great and caring man. Staff always pleasant Always willing to go above and beyond .. As long as he practices, he'll be my familys "go to" guy . Outstanding...
