Worst doctor ever. He lied to us and as result of his lies my husband died because of him.

Very positive professional doctor with calming knowledgeable demeanor. Couldn't ask for a better experience. Explained procedure and very kind and caring. You won't be disappointed. Our experience at Riverside hospital was very positive and had very caring people.

Dr Chapekis is very thorough, excellent at what he does, and professional. My mother who is 82, was rushed to Riverside over a year ago and was told she had to have open heart surgery, because the heart doctor in Marion Ohio said she was not a candidate for stents. She refused the open heart surgery because of her age, she did not think she could make it through the surgery. We asked for a second opinion from a Cardiologist and Dr Chapekis was recommended. We asked him if he thought mom was a candidate for stents, he reviewed her reports and said that she was. He took mom in that day and put in three stents. she was out of the hospital the next morning and her heart has been fine. I highly recommend Dr Chapekis. My opinion: WORST doctor on the planet! Needs to retire. Makes his patients VICTIMS.

Have seen Dr. Chapekis since 1995 one of the best has always spent more than enough time with me , been right on the diagnosis with me.

I brought my husband to see this doctor to address some concerns based on labs and symptoms I have observed over time. After waiting an hour, he was seen for 5 minutes. The doctor read a report from 6 months ago and said the lab results won't hurt the heart and his doctor should know that. His tone was dismissive and condescending. It appeared that he didn't want to be bothered listening to me describe the symptoms and he was in a hurry to get rid of us. Overall, his attitude revealed that he shouldn't have come to him in the first place. So he did nothing for my husband. I disagree with his assessment because those labs and symptoms required hospitalization in the past. Therefore my role in being proactive was the right thing to do. I have been seeing Dr Chapekis for 6 years after my heart stents were put in. He has always been very professorial and attentive to my condition. His office and staff have always been helpful and have returned my calls in a timely manner. M Justice

He placed 2 stents in my heart, follow-up appointment was very good. I felt confident in him as a physician also easy to discuss health issues with.

Dr. Chapekis is warm & friendly and immediately put me at ease. He answered all my questions in terms I could understand. He's obviously whip-smart. I absolutely believe he cares deeply for my well-being. I'm grateful he's my cardiologist.
