Annemarie Ellgaard

Dr. Ellgaard has helped me in so many ways. She is the best family practice Doctor I have ever had. She really cares.

She was my doctor for about 1 1/2 - 2 years. At my initial visit, I let her know I was looking for a doctor who wanted to collaborate with me as the patient, since I knew my body and health history best. She is not that type of doctor. In subsequent visits, I found her to be a poor listener who minimized what I had to say and didn't take me seriously, sometimes resulting in a poor outcome. In my last visit with her, she had me fill out a questionnaire which she then didn't look at.

Dr. Ellgaard has been my Primary Care Doctor for 18 years because she's an amazing doctor. She is very proactive, compassionate, knows her area of expertise and is not shy to refer one out to a specialist if needed.

When visiting her for the first time, I wasn't given any opportunity to discuss my current health concerns. She looked at my chart that hadn't been updated in several years and used that to determine her recommendations. I'm extremely dissatisfied with my visit and would not recommend her to new patients.
