Dr. Anne M Wallace

I had an appointment with Dr. Ann Wallace on November 3rd for a breast reconstruction revision consultation. That morning, I received a voicemail from her assistant, Michelle, indicating that Dr. Wallace was in the OR and they needed to reschedule my appointment. I left Michelle a message as I was directed to do so that afternoon and never heard back from her to get back on Dr Wallace’s calendar. I called Michelle a week and a half later and left another message. No call back once again. I left my third and final message with her a week ago and still no call back. This lack of responsiveness is unprofessional and quite frankly gives me a lack of self-confidence with the operations of this medical practice.

Few Doctors are as compassionate and skilled as Dr. Wallace. She saved my pregnant wife with Stage 3 Breast cancer at 39 and as a result our baby boy has his Mother every day. She commanded our case in a way that few could have matched. We had to change insurance providers half way and she helped greatly for that to happen. When everything looked dire and grim, she turned things around along with her team and steered us towards a bright outcome. You have the power to change lives for the better and you choose to do so with care and selflessnes. We are all fortunate that people like you walk among us. Did I mention she saved my Mom too? Dr. Wallace did my Breast Mastectomy and Reconstruction. I DO NOT recommend her doing the reconstruction. Dr. Wallace did a horrible job on my breasts, I looked like a monster . I am embarrassed to say, one nipple was preserved but relocated to the side of the breast and I had a uni boob. Why any Doctor would do this is beyond me as well as the other Doctors that have seen me since her. When I mentioned that I wasn’t happy with the results she said: “well look what I have to work with” in reference to my body. I was horrified...Really??? I could not allow her to cut on me again so I found a different plastic surgeon who was outstanding. Please do all your homework when looking for a plastic surgeon and steer as far from this horrible botch job of a Doctor as you can.

She went over everything I needed to know in detail. She was sincerely concerned about me and the cancer I was going through. She treated me as if I was her only patient. I appreciated that.

What an amazing Doctor! Extremely knowledgeable, kind, caring, considerate! Answers all questions in detail. The BEST surgeon! Her nurses are amazing also. I would highly recommend her! ??

Dr wallace left me cancer free and feeling confident I refer to her for everything. She gave me her cell phone and is available anytime I need??

As a "seasoned" surgical patient, I can honestly say the lumpectomy and node dissection performed by Dr Wallace was the best surgical experience I've ever had. She carefully considered my overall medical background, adjusted her approach to my surgery to ensure a good outcome, and there aren't enough words to describe the efficiency of her team at Thornton Hospital. Her referral of a medical oncologist to oversee my post surgical treatment turned out badly, but as a surgeon she's the best!

I saw Anne at the age of 32 and she had the most insensitive bedside manners of any doctor I have ever seen. I was diagnosed by her as a stage 1 breast cancer patient , she would not offer me a PET scan, any blood tests or body imaging to allow for a complete diagnosis. In fact she saw a lesion in my liver due to just fate on my part during a breast MRI and still would not evaluate the liver, thankfully I got a second opinion and learned I had stage 4 breast cancer that was shown in a PET scan.
