I think people who leave these nasty reviews come in with a bad attitude and expect a bad result. It is important to understand that people sometimes make mistakes and things happen. Dr Anne changed my life. I am a life long allergy/asthma sufferer who wasn't diagnosed properly early on and my asthma was untreated for a long time. I started allergy shots and put in the time with food changes and supplements suggested by Dr Anne and my symptoms are 75% better. Its a long road, and there were a few days where my appt was late (big deal!)) or i was unhappy about something or other, but the end result is great! My asthma is under control and i am improving my lung function by running. If your goal is to get better, Dr Anne can definitely happy. If you are expecting the four seasons treatment instead, go somewhere else, but i have been satisfied and happy with my overall treatment.

She was very catty and mean. She wanted to know my ethnicity due to some weird "genetic test" and when I told her, she berated me to tears.

Staff was very rude . Doctor was lost . Worst experience I ever had .

Had been a patient for over 15 years. In the last month staff booked an appt for a check up on a day when they only do shots, so I was not seen after I wasted time going there. . For the next appt they didnt adjust clocks for daylight savings time ; rushed me in and out - even though I was early they treated me as though I were late because they couldn't manage to change their clocks. The final straw was when I had a critical situation that required a quick answer ; FIVE HOURS LATER I finally got a response. This caused a delay in urgently needed treatment. I have been going to Dr. Szpindor for years. I have had asthma and a variety of allergies most of my life. She is by far the best allergist I have had and provides a lot of information not only on prescription medications, but lifestyle changes to help manage my asthma/allergies and improve overall health. She's a gem.

Not the Dr she used to be. Takes her sweet time doing things regardless of importance. Lazy uncaring staff

This doctor tried to schedule a series of unnecessary appointments, refused to run my insurance, refused to release my medical records (HIPAA violation), and even tried to collect a cash deposit for treatment without running my insurance. I had been having mouth problems for the last year. My Primary doctor suggested maybe it was allergies. I went to see Dr. Szpindor. She tested me for allergies, both scratch testing and patch testing on my tongue. The results were no help at all, unless I was going to become Amish. The billing for the tests was outrageous. The removal of the patches came with a $59.00 doctor visit charge, even though I did not see the doctor. Tried to fight it but was threatened with being sent to collections.

This woman is out of her mind. Beware. She is currently holding my medical records hostage to the point where I filed a complaint with the Illinois department of professional regulations. She is a control freak and she does things on her own time. After 5 attempts to collect my medical records, I have given up and have no choice but to start over with my allergy shots from scratch which violates the do no harm oath that they all take when becoming a doctor.

I have visited many doctors trying to find the cause or solution to my headaches. In addition, I have been sleepless many nights. It turns out both problems were related to allergies, and I finally learned my most severe allergies (and had suspected problems confirmed). Dr Szpindor uses a natural approach that addresses causes, and not bandaging symptoms. This is exactly in line with my thinking. The staff has always been friendly and courteous.

Dr Anne Szpindor is one of the best doctors out there. She is thorough with her questions and understanding of your symptoms and general health/well-being. Her treatment recommendations are robust and include natural health recommendations as well. She really cares about her patients and helping them to get well.
