I was so blessed to meet Dr. Anne. Over the last few months she has helped to restore my body to its original state, eliminating pinched nerves in my neck and back, and giving me the sense of self again that I haven't had in three years. If it weren't for Dr. Anne, and her incredible gift of healing, I do not know where I would be today. I'd been struggling with some knee/hip/mobility issues which didn't clear up in spite of physical therapy. I finally visited Dr. Anne for acute knee pain that was preventing me from running. She not only fixed that, but she is bringing back other abilities I haven't had for years! She jokes that people bring her their TVs to fix, and she fixes them and also installs cable :) So true in my case! I'd give her ten stars here if I could! Dr Anne Sorrentino is fabulous! She asks every session if there are new issues we should address while always following up on older issues. She listens, she keeps it fun, offers lots of options for treatment and care.

"Dr. Anne" is an incredibly skilled practitioner and truly gifted at diagnosing and treating pain. I have been her client for many years (and treated for a variety of aches and pains!) and it never ceases to amaze me how much she knows about the body and how quickly she identifies the root cause of a pain and determines a treatment & exercise protocol. I first started seeing Anne for right hip pain that had been plaguing me for literally years, and within the first ten minutes of our first consultation she determined my pain was due to an FAI (an impingement) and began treating me with ART (Active Release Technique) to alleviate the pain. Dr. Sorrentino provides amazing care, especially for athletes. I’ve seen her a number of times over the last several years and she always has innovative and helpful treatment methods. She takes time to really evaluate my needs and I’ve always left feeling like my needs were met!

It’s not possible for me to speak highly enough about my experience(s) with Dr. Sorrentino. I’ve been a patent of hers for 6+ years, during which time I’ve been exceedingly impressed with her functional approach to treatment. While most providers tend to follow a linear methodology….moving from point to point based on a “one size fits all” mentality…..I always know that Dr. Sorrentino will evaluate symptoms/implement an effective treatment strategy based on my specific needs. Everything is hands on, and I rest at ease with the knowledge that her wealth of experience (coupled with genuine compassion and bedside manner) always manages to put me back together. Dr. S has been taking care of me for years for both acute back pain and general maintenance, and her work and has become the baseline by which I compare all other chiropractors. She’s incredibly knowledgeable and effective, but never hesitates to recommend another specialist when appropriate. She also treats my athlete son, and has helped keep him in form for the game he loves. Dr. S is one of my favorite people. I always walk out of my appointments feeling so much better than when I walked in, from both the treatment and the conversation. Highly recommended for non-athletes as well as athletes. Seeing Dr. Sorrentino is one of best health decisions I have ever made. Avoided Rotator cuff surgery and am now fully functioning and pain free. She provides honest answers and highly effective treatment. Everyone I have ever referred has said the same. She finds the cause of the issue and gets after it. Five plus stars. Dr. Sorrentino is an excellent Chiropractor who offers much more than a traditional chiro. First of all, her appointment times are longer, meaning you never feel rushed and she ALWAYS takes the time to provide a full exam and treat you like an individual with unique concerns. Secondly, she holds a unique higher certificate, equivalent to a Master's Degree in Sports Chiropractic, making her more qualified to provide services similar to a physical therapist. She is one of only 400-500 individuals in the nation who have the Diplomate in Sports Chiropractic. I own a Sports Massage practice and feel very confident sending my clients to Dr. Sorrentino when their issues are outside of my scope. I continue to receive positive feedback from all of the clients who have been treated by her. She goes the extra mile and not only knows what she is doing, but also works as an instructor for many of the modalities that she provides. She is truly at the top of her field and we are lucky to have her working here in Northern Virginia. If you are hesitant to see a Chiropractor because you are apprehensive about receiving spinal adjustments, rest assured that Dr. Sorrentino can provide much, much more to help you: Active Release Techniques (ART) which treats the soft tissue, Kinesio Taping, Rehab Exercises, Cupping, Dry Needling, and so much more.
