Dr. Anne Margaret Rex

I went to her recently, expressed my concern about my knee as well as all of my previous history and scans completed on my knee. She went through the issue of the current injury and how my previous injuries had affected this one and made it easier for my knee it my injured. She had referred me to see an orthopedic surgeon if my issues continue after this injury. She was the first doctor to be concerned about my knee issues I’ve been having since early 2019.

A waste of time if you are looking for answers to your specific issues. I had an MRI and the only way I knew the results was because they were posted in MY CHART. Dr. Rex also needs to work on her bedside manner.

Did not listen, was dismissive, was only interested in taking X-rays and getting me out the door (after she was very late for the first appt. of the day), when I brought the current x-ray with me, x-rays are known to be good for at least a year unless you have a trauma and I do not have a trauma. Useless visit, terrible bedside manner. Avoid!

Dr. Rex was a HUGE disappointment and this appointment was the biggest waste of time - I got nothing out of this. After being already a half-hour late to the appointment, Dr. Rex was extremely rude and had no concern for the fact that I was now going to be late for a conference call. In addition to this, she was incredibly unhelpful in providing any amount of feedback as to my ongoing hip (reason for this appointment) pain. She only continuously insisted on my getting new x-rays -- when the x-rays I had were only 9 months old (and is no cause for new x-rays, especially since there has been no injury or trauma to the area.) Dr. Rex came off as annoyed by any questions I had and she had little concern for any outside medical advice I’d received from other providers, and relayed to her. Her only advice was to ice, and go to more physical therapy. I left with no more information than when I had walked in, and had wasted over 2hrs of my day. This is not acceptable.

She is nasty and rude . She told me she couldn’t help me until I lost weight. I also heard her speaking to her staff in a very demeaning tone. What an unpleasant woman.

This doctor will not see you if you are over a certain age . This is age discrimination! The Cleveland Clinic should not allow this doctor to practice such bigotry. She is also arrogant and rude .

I explained that I had some money left over in my flexible spending account that needed to be spent today. She smirked and commented, "there's nothing like waiting till the last minute." I have a varied schedule.and had been waiting to see her for almost one month. If you are looking for a provider that will explore nutritional supplimentation or OTC meds for use with an FSA, forget it. Otherwise she seems to be an adequate Ortho doc.

I've seen Dr Rex x2, in past 1.5 yrs. I would not recommend her and will not see her again. She may be knowledgeable but she is not personal or empathetic. She referred me for injection and gave me the wrong phone number to call. I called her office for assistant and was given a full run-around and more misinformation. Finally, I found the right number to call for the injection appointment. If I had not been proactive, I'd still be waiting....it has been 4 days since I started calling for appt.

I had two (2) visits with Dr. Rex for bilateral knee pain. I found her to be empathetic, understanding, kind, and helpful. She explained what was happening and why it was happening. I can not say enough about how wonderful and helpful she was.

She explained nothing. She also did not listen to me at all. One of my worst experiences at CCF
