Sooo helpful!!!!!!

I didn’t even realize emotional neglect was a thing, let alone a trauma!!! I got my daughter back! Did my own work and now I have an amazing relationship with her.

Remarkable Christian Therapist!

Dr.Lewis was my first therapist. I saw her for several months when I was 15 and 16 after asking for help when I realized I had an eating disorder. The experience was extremely silencing and invalidating. It was very damaging to my efforts to find healing and made it difficult for me to seek therapy again. Once I did see other therapists, I discussed the experiences I had with Dr.Lewis and most of my providers were shocked to hear a therapist would act that way, especially towards a child. It was extremely harsh therapy, there was truly more accusations than understanding. Dr.Lewis seemed to even diagnose me based on stigma rather than symptoms. I was immediately told I would have to take medication for years and wouldn't be able to work or attend college (none of this was true, but I really did believe them for a while and it was damaging). It took me years to understand how wrong a lot of this was, and I am currently doing everything in my power to make a formal complaint against Dr.Lewis.

I’ve been in therapy for 10 years. I’ve seen countless therapists. Within two appointments I was crying about things I didn’t even realize were bugging me. I’ve never cried in therapy before. Just go. I understand things differently now and I can’t believe how much other therapy doesn’t address.

I’ve not been in this good of a spot before and felt this good while being sober. So glad I did. Wish I didn’t wait. Anne makes things make sense.

She has been great working with my daughter and myself. We’ve really been able to work through some rough spots and I figured out why I felt so bad doing things as a mom. It really helped with shame. I wish I had done this sooner.

My wife and I went to Dr Lewis and expected this to be like all the therapy we have done before. She was able to help us go from blame games and feeling badly to being able to talk through our feelings.

My daughter loves seeing Dr Lewis and I'm noticing a really positively change in her. we've seen so many other therapists and she's relatable, encouraging and helps you make sense of what's really happening.

I've done a lot of therapy and this is the first time I feel like it's helping. Well worth the time. Amazing family work. Highly recommend.
