Dr. Anne Grand'Maison

Had Dr Grand Maison as my first oncologist. She is honest, straightforward and answers all questions. I was sorry when she left the hospital to go to a US hospital. The three I had after her were no comparison!

My condition is followed by Dr. Grand’Maison at Roswell Park Cancer Institute. Roswell did not have a sarcoma specialist when I was first diagnosed and didn’t get one until after my chemo treatments. I was so relived when Dr. Grand’Maison came to Roswell. She’s kind, caring and has a great sense of humor. She always has the answers to my questions and offers information in a way I can understand. So sad to hear she is leaving Roswell. I will miss her. If anyone knows where she’s going please post.

Virtual visit with Brenden McSherry NP on April 1st. He was prompt with the appointment and reviewed all my test results with me .Brenden is a great addition to this practice. He is very knowledgeable and kind. I have a high comfort level with him and feel confident with his assessments.

It was a wonderful, caring and cordial visit as always. Dr. Anne blesses my life!

Dr grand maison is a very caring and thourough MD, she addressed all my issues and concerns, she is friendly and professional.

had lots of issues getting a test sent to my doctor that ordered it(not at Roswell)

She is simply the most competent, caring, and knowledgeable dr when it comes to rare sarcoma. If she doesn’t have the answer, she will fight to get it and make sure you get the best treatment for your rare cancer. Just the best! I even named my miracle after cancer baby after her. I’m thankful to be alive and attribute much of that to her and her team.

I have been under the care of Dr. Grand-Maison since March 2019. During this time I had chemo and radiation treatments. She is always ready to answer questions, offer encouragement, discuss treatment options, and never seems rushed to get on to the next patient. When I finished chemo and asked if I could drink wine, she said " drink wine in moderation, go home and enjoy your life, and don't think about this." And for the most part I don't think of it; though with CT scans every three months for 2 years, I cannot totally put it out of my mind. Dr AGM is the best! She is so kind, competent, and takes all the time needed to reassure and make an accurate diagnosis. I think so highly of her, I had a miracle baby after this cancer and named the baby after her.

I have had wonderful care from Dr. Grand’Maison. She is attentive to my needs and gets the attention I need from each department. Even when all was well with me, she encouraged me to tell her about cancer problems my son was experiencing, as she could discern that I was troubled. She affirmed that he needed to be seen at Roswell, said she could help him and indeed, had him under the care of her colleagues within days. I rank her top-notch.

She is very professional, kind, genuinely interested in all that is going on with the patient, and extremely intelligent. Top notch doctor.

Dr. Grand'Maison and her assistants take the time to get to know you and your particular cancer history. Her approach towards treatment is very sound and I'm glad she's my oncologist. She explains the specific disease with you and her approach on the treatment plan to bring about the best results.

I’ve been a patient of Dr Grand-Maison for approx one year. She is personable, professional, and very competent. She listens, clearly explains the expected plan of treatment, test results and ensures good follow up. She is also very positive re: success of treatments (CT scan today shows no evidence of disease) and encourages life be lived and enjoyed with positive attitude for the future.

Things ran a little late as expected in afternoon for a busy medical operation.

If you have the very rare cancer Sarcoma, do yourself a favor and see Dr. Grand’Maison. The knowledge, care and dedication you will receive is second to none. Why see just a regular cancer doctor when you can be under the care of a Sarcoma SPECIALIST?

Dr. Grand’maison is an outstanding doctor!! There is not enough good things I could say about her. It wasn’t until we met with her that I had a full understanding of the type of tumor I have, and the approach we would take for a cure. I was once told by another hospital personnel, prior to meeting with Dr. Grand’maison, that chemo may not even work. The chemo shrank the tumor significantly enough, that the next step is radiation and surgery. She gave me hope, and believe me, if she didn’t think there was any she would had said. She by far is the best doctor I have ever had. Though she has many patients, I never felt like I was just a patient to her. She is very knowledgeable; kind; caring; and always took an interest in my well being. When I had questions she would listen and answer them. All of us who have Dr Grand’maison are very blessed. If she ever left Roswell Park what a significant loss it would be for her patients and Roswell. If you are given an opportunity to have Dr. Grand’maison for your doctor, know that you are in great hands. Dr Anne is very kind, concerned and delivers excellent care. Very knowledgeable in her field. She listens and allows time for questions. I truly enjoy talking with her. Highly recommend.

THE BEST IN THE FIELD!!! VERY THOROUGH! EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGEABLE! EXCELLENT BEDSIDE MANNER! I moved to Los Angeles three years ago after having major surgery at RPCI to have a GIST tumor removed. I made the important decision to return to RPCI every four months to receive my follow up care with Dr Grand’Maison, who is now my primary care oncologist. Dr Grand’Maison is a rockstar at RPCI and has earned my utmost respect and also the respect of her fellow doctors and the entire staff and volunteers at RPCI. That respect is equally important to me because those are the people that get to see Dr. Grand’Maison’s work daily. Dr. Grand’Maison has also taken as much time as necessary to meet with family members to explain my diagnosis, test results and plan for care as well as answering all of their questions in “layman” terms that they can understand and make sense out of. I would give ten stars to Dr. Grand’Maison if it was an option on this website.

I've seen this doctor since 2016 3 to 4 times a year and my personal average waiting time has been 1 hour, which is very frustrating.
