Not a fun topic but she recommended nonsurgical therapy that worked well. Very knowledgeable about a complicated topic, various problems, and-importantly-possible solutions.

Everyone should know what a horrible doctor she is. I had to wait four hours to see her. Then when I did see her she said lets pray for a good surgery and thats it. By the way a neurosurgeon needs to be there because you might become paralyzed. No sympathy nothing. I developed PTSD because of her. She should not be practicing as a physician, she should be ashamed

Dr Boller has made a difficult and overwhelming medical situation more bearable. Her ability to calm me down has been amazing. She has explained things well from the beginning but makes time for phone calls or telehealth to answer questions about surgery and responds to the mychart app for other concerns. I already had 1 surgery to place a temporary ileostomy and I had a lot of complications. I was in the hospital 25 days and Dr Boller was there every day other than 1 weekend where she went to visit family. Her bedside manner is wonderful and pleasant. She has a quirky but fun sense of humor that she uses to calm anxiety. She's very intelligent and recognized that my situation was surgical where the "best" surgeon in her department dismissed it as a nonsurgical issue. I think she's brilliant, she looks inside and outside the box for the best solution for the individual not just doing the common way. Her goal is to do the least invasive, effective surgery for your situation.

She was great. I think people misunderstand her because she's probably neuro divergent. I appreciate her bluntness and telling me what is going on without sugar coating.

This doctor is the absolute worst doctor I have ever seen. She is condescending, disrespectful, and straight up rude. Seriously if you can go see ANYONE and I mean ANYONE else. Please do.

Wonderful. She saved my life. I like her sense of humor. Her explanations were thorough. She is conscientious and smart. She made sure I had heard her and had understood her.

This women is not very nice. She seems to have zero compassion. Does a dismal job of explaining herself. We will not be back to see her. Seems to have gone into medicine for all the wrong reasons.

he is very mean, rude and bad attitude. Terrible person to deal with. Run far from her and find you another Doctor. I still don't understand why she chose this career for and what kind of school and hospital accepted her there she will bring their name down. she is not suited to be a Doctor and take care of people. I only felt hurt and humiliated until now whenever I am thinking about my treatment with her at Northwestern hospital.

When I first met her, she looked at me and was like, “you’re sitting fine?” It felt like she wanted to say she didn’t want me there. I was in pain because of fissure, and she made it seem like it was nothing and she told me that I had to take miralax the rest of my life like nothing could fix my fissure. Before my Botox procedure, she came to see me and told me that Botox was not magic and it wouldn’t make my fissure go away, I mean she was right. I still have fissure. I think my only problem is she made me feel hopeless. I’m Tran s* and also a person of color, and I didn’t feel welcomed there. On the day of the procedure, I overheard one of his male nurses told another nurse that I was a “he.” I cried so much before the procedure.

I had to wait for her 2 hours to see her. She spent 5 minutes to see me and rushed outside. I am not see her again in my life.

I had bad experience with Doctor Boller. She did a surgery on me and I really felt regret. I still feel a lot of pains and I plan to have it redone again from difference Doctors.

I will never forget the day I was diagnosed with Stage Three Colorectal cancer. I went for a CT scan to see if the cancer had metastasized. Somehow, I was slotted to see Dr. Boller to give me my results. That by far was the worst week of my life, quite devastating to say the least waiting to find out my results. My husband and I showed up to my Appt. Dr. Boller was an hour late. Once they brought me back in the office we waited another 45 mins. Dr. Boller walked in and began to read my CT scan results while eating her lunch. She asked if we minded that she eat because she was squeezing us in that day. Long story short, she did not know she was was meant to see me. I am not sure if it was a scheduling error but regardless, we were in shock the way she treated a newly diagnosed Stage Three Cancer patient. I walked out of her office and immediately switched to amazing Drs. at the University of Chicago. The funny thing is I remember her telling me she had cancer herself. Unbelievable.

Best of the best. Educated, experienced, and excellent at what she does. Specific to LGBT health, I was comforted in her holistic and thoughtful process & explanation. To these negative reviews: the last thing I wanted was to be upset about going into surgery. Dr. Boller immediately took the burden off by explaining everything upfront, with no room to question. She just happens to be very sarcastic. To some folks with no sense of humor, this may not be good. But to myself and most, being a human is something very important in a healthcare professional, let alone surgeon. Strongly reccomend. Good luck to you in MN, Dr. Boller.

CONSESCENDING and extremely bossy and rude. WOEFULLY awful bedside manner. She doesn't speak with you as a patient, she talks down to you. Your concerns and worries do not matter to her at all..... Rather than explaining what must be done, she boldly bashes any assumptions that you as a patient might have made. RUN RUN RUN away!

I suffer from fissures and muscle spasms. I didn't seek treatment because of embarrassment until I reached a breaking point. Because of my anxiety/pain she couldn't examine me fully. She was rude and condescending in the office and when she left she was complaining about me to a nurse or colleague. I could hear every word. Unprofessional to say the least.

I saw Dr Boller after receiving a colorectal cancer diagnosis. She promptly scheduled tests to confirm the problem and set up treatment plan. She performed a seven hour surgery to remove the tumor and place temporary ileostomy. I was out of the hospital in three days with no pain and no adverse side effects. I have continued to see here as part on my follow up plan. Although she has always has a full schedule, she always takes time to listen and respond to any questions.

She explains options and procedures in terms that I could clearly understand. She spent plenty of time to work out solutions and I would highly recommend her.

I've been going to Dr. Boller for several years now. She's always been busy but kind and listens to her patients. Last year I was very upset and depressed. She comforted and helped me to connect with surgeons unrelated to her field of expertise. Both surgeries were successful and I will forever grateful for her time and encouragement.

Yes, she is very busy. That is because she is very good. She performed surgery on me that changed my life; probably saved it. Removed section of diseased colon and I was home in 3 days without a bag. Not an easy thing to recover from, but her skills as a surgeon made it easier. Great team there at NW, too.

I had left a review before the surgery, I thought she did an excellent job on the surgery as far as I can tell at this point, I've got a long recovery ahead (at least 6 weeks) so to make a full assessment is a little difficult but up to this point I've been nothing but impressed. She has a great attitude, always smiling, showed great concern through out the process, kept my friends updated during the surgery multiple times. If not her, one of her team checked with me every day.

Dr. Boller seems very very disorganized. She also seems to be too busy to truly listen to her patients. I feel as if I was just another project to her. After getting a second opinion from a much more qualified doctor, I realized just how poor Dr. Boller's care was. She would be a better doctor if she climbed off her high horse and took time to listen.

Waited for 50 mins and she rushed in and asked what was wrong. She is a terrible listener! She is very rude and cuts you off as you try to explain your symptoms. I have multiple issue in the pelvic floor and the symptoms are connected - as I tried to explain my other issue she cut me off and said rudely Don't do that. I told her I was breastfeeding and she prescribed medicine that is not suppose to be Taken with it. I asked her question and she walked out And said to ask nurse. Not caring!

I waited about an hour before Dr. Boller showed up and she was in a very big rush. She saw me for maybe ten minutes and didn't offer any help with my problem. She felt that my problem was not something that she could solve and didn't offer any suggestions on who to see to help me. It's funny because I am now going to see a surgeon from her group who believes my real problem lies within her expertise. The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing.

Great doctor. Only problem is she is so good, it is hard to schedule an appointment with her. She offered me non surgical options for my problem first. Realized an improvement, but finally elected to proceed with the surgery. She did a great job. Always felt she had my best interests at heart - not making a surgery quota for the month like so many other drs. I had seen prior to her. Ultimately came to realize their methods would have caused more problems. Grateful I found her.

Dr. Holler is an outstanding surgeon, with extensive experience in pelvic surgery cases. Her pre surgical evaluations and studies were excellent, and were followed by outstanding surgical execution.
