She makes a person comfortable and truly cares.

she is very kind and will listen to your issues. She is knowledgeable and SHE even called me back to tell me my test results and to check up on me. I have never had a dr do that before she is truly caring and that's hard to come by these days.

Pap smears have always been scary for me because I was sexually abused as a child and haven't been sexually active since (now age 36). Dr. Gessner has always been incredibly understanding and gentle and I experienced NO PAIN AT ALL during the two pap smears I've had with her, probably because she was gentle enough I was able to relax (so a TOTALLY different -- and much better -- experience compared to the two times I tried getting a pap smear during grad school at our student health center! :(

I have been a patient of Dr. Gessners for close to 15 years and would highly recommend her to everyone! She truly cares about her patients and takes time to listen to them and their concerns. Her bedside manner, kindness and compassion for her patients is outstanding! If you take the time to establish a relationship with her you won't just gain a great doctor, but also a friend.

Dr. Gessner is an extremely thoughtful, caring and thorough Patient advocate. She goes above and beyond to meet the needs of the women she treats. I travel from her previous town to continue my care and friendship!

I saw Dr. Gessner back in 2003 when I was pregnant with my first daughter, I had such a great experience with her that with my last pregnancy (just a few months ago) I traveled out of town to see her again. She not only takes good care of you and your unborn child but she truly cares, she's compassionate and you can tell she loves her job. I would recommend and do recommend everyone to be seen by Dr. Gessner!

She has horrible bedside manner. She was the doctor on call who delivered my baby. She didn't seem to care at all for me as a patient, just saw me as another number. I was pushing me heart out trying to give birth and all she would say was I wasn't trying. Epidural wasn't administered right and she was completely unsympathetic to the pain I was in. Barely checked in, just came in to deliver and then disappeared. She acted irritated and inconvenienced the whole time. I would never recommend her!
