Dr. Ann M Campbell

Dr. Campbell has been my dentist for almost 10 years and in all of that time I have NEVER had to wait over 5 minutes for my appointment. She and her great staff are waiting for me, not the other way around. She has taken my fear of dentists away. In fact, during my first appointment with her, when she told me that I would need some extensive root cleaning, I balked, due to a previous terrible experience with this type of procedure. So she said, in military fashion, but not unkindly, that I could either "buck up" and let her clean my teeth or they would eventually fall out. Now that might sound a little harsh, but it was just what I needed to hear, so when I showed up for my cleaning appointment, she proceeded to wrap me in a warm blanket, played soothing music, helped me relax with a light anxiety reliever, turned down the lights, put sunglasses on me, and started cleaning. It took two visits to get the job done, and she did it with no pain at all. Since then she has cleaned my teeth many, many times, besides filling a couple of teeth and replacing old fillings. She has this great vibrating needle so you cannot feel her shots and they do not hurt. Get this, when I needed a root canal a few years ago, she did the prep work then sent me across the complex for the procedure itself. The endodontist did not have a vibrating needle, so she actually left her office and came over to the endodontist office, with her trusty needle in hand, and deadened my teeth for me so I would not have to endure the traditional shots. Now THAT is dedication to her clients. And she did it for free. I will never go to another dentist unless there is no other choice. Thank you Dr. Campbell and staff. You are the best. Excellent work. Very friendly and funny. Sincere about my dental problems and needs. I will never go anywhere else.

A few years ago I really needed some extensive dental work done. After some research I decided to contact Dr Campbell's office for a consultation. She and her staff made me feel very welcome and more importantly, she clearly explained my options in regard to the work I wanted (and needed) done. I felt very confident allowing her to do the work because of her professional nature and what I perceived (correctly) was her attention to detail (obviously important in her profession)! I was very well pleased with the initial work as well as all subsequent follow throughs including check-ups and cleanings. Probably not the most economical Dentist in the Reno area but I believe that you get what you pay for! If you need to cut $$$ corners in your life, you should probably start with something other than your oral health and hygiene! Dr Campbell (who is also a former Naval Officer) has an exceptionally well appointed office with a clean, simple and comfortable ambience.
