Ann Cottrell Bolander

I was referred to Dr. Cottrell by my primary doctor to help with long term pain affecting my sleep and functioning. Dr. Cottrell was very late to session and very impatient with me. She was very focused on typing in her computer asking questions without looking away from her screen and when I was slow to answer her questions she was sharp in stating that the questions were yes/no. She did not understand nor did she want to take the time to find out that the pain was radiating and intermittent and difficult for me to locate the origin. I definitely could not recommend her services based on the time I spent with her.

Finally found a Doctor who listens! Dr. Cottrell is a nothing but an expert concerning back injuries.I have been very happy with her attention to my issues.

I went in for trigger point injections for severe myofascial pain. She grabbed the needle but the proceeded to tell me she could not administer trigger point injections unless I could reach around to my back and physically point them out. I have so many (she even said I probably have 14) and it is near impossible for me to find them without a long stick to reach them. I've never seen or heard of trigger point injections being administered that way. I left with one injection and zero relief.
