Dr. Tan has the best bedside manner. She listens and she remembers the little details.

My husband, who is currently receiving inpatient care at another facility, had an appointment scheduled for 8:45am. His private ambulance transport arrived at the doctor’s office at 8:45 and he was in the waiting room at 8:47. They declined to provide treatment for him because his ambulance got him there 2 minutes late. Seek care elsewhere if you’re looking for a clinician who is truly interested in providing necessary care to patients in desperate need.

I absolutely love Dr. Tan, but her front desk is extremely lacking. I gave this review two stars and that is stretching it. When I call, I am put on hold for at least 15 minutes. I was told over two weeks ago that they were seeking authorization for medication to be approved by my insurance. It has taken them over two weeks to even follow up. I can’t get a straight answer. I doubt Dr. Tan is aware of what is happening. I have shared my concerns with other patients that I know who use Dr. Tan and they all had the same complaints. The staff working for Doctor Tan are no longer great anymore they are horrible they lie, misinform, don't set up reminder calls for lengthy scheduled appointments just plain incompetent and for this I will be seeking another doctor for treatment.

Definitely don’t ask these guys for recommendations for an OBGYN. I was a patient of Dr. Tans for a long time (almost 4 years). My mom is a current patient, even having seen her as recently as 6 weeks ago. We recommend her all the time to our friends when they ask who is a good endo (obviously getting a referral from their doctor too ) and had thought so highly of her in our household. A few years ago I moved to Dallas for work unfortunately so there was a brief break. Husband and I moved back to Fort Worth recently because he started with a new firm here. Recently found out we are 8 weeks pregnant. I called to see who she/they could recommend to us to for an OBGYN or even a specialist and had plans after pregnancy to come back to Dr. Tan since we are back in Fort Worth now vs Dallas. But the appointment setter I spoke to was rude and told me it had been longer than 3 years and so I wasn’t considered a patient anymore, and that they were too busy dealing with telemedicine to send a message back and ask for an OB reccomendation, she didn’t have a list etc. There was nothing they could do to help me even if I called back at another time? (She made it sound like they couldn’t help me ever) I’m sure Dr Tan has friends in the OBGYN field who refer her all day long and who would’ve loved that recommendation, and not only that but because of this we will definitely consider other options as far as an endo goes when that time comes. We have PPO BCBS insurance that any provider I’m sure would’ve been grateful to take us on as new patients. They lost 2 long term opportunities. 1 for any OB or OB Specialists, and 1 for an their practice as an Endo (which I need regularly, still on metformin etc, thyroid issues) all because of how unhelpful and rude they were. Dr. Tan is an amazing endocrinologist. She truly cares for her patient's whole wellbeing and addresses all concerns in a compassionate and understandable way.

Dr. Tan is top notch. She actually listens to her patients. She was so compassionate during my husband's stage IV cancer and didn't abandon us during covid like all of the other doctors did.

Look elsewhere.

I was so glad to find Dr Tan to deal with my Thyroid and Osteoporosis issues. She has kept my thyroid levels in the appropriate range for years. Dr Tan is very easy to talk with and listens to any concerns I may have.

I realize more than ever that our insurance and medical system is broken, but these last 3 weeks has reinforced it even more. I was diagnosed with Graves disease over 3 weeks ago. Dr. Tan was listed as being in network with my BCBS insurance. I had a referral faxed over, and because my symptoms were severe I also called the office hoping I could get in as soon as possible. As a new patient I was asked to leave a message for the new patient coordinator. The message was pretty terse and said to not leave more than one message, and that their referral process time could take up to 10 days. I left a detailed message, and asked to be called asap. I patiently waited two weeks, ad there was no call. I called, and was told by the office that Dr. Tan and her group were cancelling their contract with BCBS next month. Did the patient coordinator, knowing my diagnosis and knowing I needed to be seen and treated, have the decency or empathy to actually call me and tell me that so I could search for another doctor? NO!! Just left me hanging and delaying treatment unnecessarily for me for 2 more weeks. I realize that maybe the administrative staff is overworked, but who's fault is that, and whatever happened to a doctor abiding by the hippocratic oath to do no harm. Not following up with an ill patient is unethical and uncaring. Dr. Tan and the rest of her practice should be ashamed. Hire more staff to process new patients, so maybe just maybe you won't leave someone who is ill hanging for two weeks. Irresponsible!!!! Your staff is incompetent. I was told that I need a new referral because I haven't been seen since 2015 and that they would have to treat me as a new patient. I spent the monthlong process of getting a new referral and waiting weeks for a call from your staff. Only to be told I would have to travel to south Fort Worth for an appointment because I'm not a new patient. I live 3 minutes from your Colleyville office. Your staff was rude and told me that I should find another physician. I have this call recorded if they deny it. Spoke with Mark. Horrible experience. Your staff is incompetent. The staff is completely incompetent!!! My OBGYN referred me and it took over a week before we could actually speak with someone just to get an appointment. It's also been a week since my MRI and they wanted me to wait an additional 3 weeks to see a dr. The doctors may be good, but it's not worth the hassle and frustration dealing with the office staff who can't get it together! Thanks, but no thanks! There are other good drs. out there. I cannot say enough amazing things about Dr Tan. I absolutely adore everything about her.

Very personable and competent.

Dr. Tan has helped our daughter, now 23, since she was 17. Recommend her every chance we get. Nothing but the best care.

Love this doctor. She listens to you and gives you information about treatments and symptoms. You do not feel rushed and they stick to their schedules so there are no long waits.

I moved near Houston and still drive to see Dr. Tan. I like her that much. She is thorough and very competent while maintaining a great bedside manner. I would highly recommend.

Out of all the doctors I have to see Dr. Tan is the best she is very caring and take time to listen and explain things to you , and she does what she can to make you feel better. Over all a great Dr.

My first visit was informative and comprehensive with Dr. Tang and her thoughtful PA. I felt listen to and my concerns addressed. Thank you for wonderful visit.

do not know why she recomed thydod removel when i had no cancer? I know Ihave had nothing but problems,taking her advice was the worst mastake I have made in 65 years.

Saw Dr. Tan in 2011, but @ the time there was not a lot to be done due to my thyroid still registering as "normal"... now its abnormal and their staff is so rude and not willing to be helpful in anyway. Guess they are doing so well they don't need my business! Sorry guys, would not recommend this place, as qualified as the Dr's may be, the staff is completely incompetent. Dr. Tan is an amazing Doctor! She l i s t e n s to you and does not discredit how well you know your own body! In 2010 was at my wits end with my hypothyroidism!! I was not able to perform simple tasks, such as make a meal for my family. After seeing NUMEROUS other Doctors who were just not able to get the meds right to allow me to function normally, a friend referred me to DTC. I truly believe Dr. Tan was my saving grace! Together, we crafted a plan that jump started my metabolism and my thyroid function. I finally have my life back!! Dr. Tan is an amazing Doctor!
