Last visit with his P.A. was very helpful. Her name was Michelle Kim at Village Medical where Dr. Dara is currently located.

Always a pleasant experience there

I DISAGREE that Dr. Dara is arrogant and authoritative. I find him to be thoughtful and knowledgeable. He takes his work seriously. He also has a big heart. I've been going to him for many years.

Dr. Dara can be arrogant and authoritative and forgetful. They do not always answer their phones during business hours. It can take hours, even days, to get help via phone.

Dr. Dara is an excellent primary care physician. He listens when I tell him my symptoms and then verifies them through them via an examination and further testing when needed. He is a very kind and caring Doctor . I have been his patient for 10+ years and have no desire to switch physicians.

Front desk is just plain rude. Dr. Dara requires an appointment for even a refill of medication. This means that I have to see him every 6 months, whether I'm feeling fine or not. I've been waiting over two months since my last office visit for his staff to complete a pre-authorization to the insurance company, so that I can continue my medication. After numerous calls and even faxes from the pharmacy, still no response. Went into their office to check status, and the rude receptionist said we don't do pre-authorizations, because we would be here all day just filling out paperwork if we did. When I told her that Dr. Dara told me over two months earlier that a pre-authorization would be completed by his staff, she simply said that she would send a message to Dr. Dara's nurse. I asked if she could check with the nurse now, since I had waited so long for my needed medication, and she said that she would not disturb the nurse while she was with patients. Dr. Dara is thorough, knowledgeable and caring. He makes sure to ask the right questions to find what's really wrong. I'm very happy to have him as my primary care physician.

Dr. Dara has been my doctor since 1998, he is also my husband and my children. There is no better Doctor then Dr. Dara . I recommend him to anyone that needs a doctor concerned about his patients
