Dr Yu is very competent, efficient, and very compassionate. He listens well & suggests different options available for my care & treatment. He discusses everything fully & makes sure I understand my treatment choices. I would highly recommend him.

Dr Yu has skills and knowledge that are far above most doctors that have treated me. He listens very well . He is compassionate, energetic and very personable . Most important of all, he is an outstanding dr.

Dr Y u ASKS and LISTENS and ADDRESSES your issues. He is kind, attentive and very thorough. He isn't just a Dr. but a good human being!! If required he will order tests and review the results with you and give you options and treatment plans. If one option isn't working he will address different options. He is highly educated and doggedly determined to help with your pain management issues. I recently moved...but when you find a good Dr you want to keep him/her. So I drive 1.45 hours for my appointments with Dr Yu and will continue to do so. His office staff is professional and personable. They always make sure your next appointment is scheduled and any tests that are ordered. Unlike many Dr offices they DO return your phone calls. I don't see someone new everytime, usually the same assistant which is refreshing!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr. Yu to be your pain management SPECIALIST!! Thank you Dr Yu for everything you do for me...I really appreciate YOU!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Yu for years. He is one of the best doctors I have ever worked with. He is an expert in the use of cortisone injections for pain relief.

Dr. Andrew J. Yu was one of the best doctors I have seen that conducts the study of the nerves with the EMG testing, he was very gentle and let me know when it was going to be a stronger part of the test. He was compassionate and cares for his patients, and his staff was all outstanding too. I hope to get relief from my herniated disk in my cervical spine in the near future with him. Thanks for blessing Portsmouth Ohio by practicing your hard earned studies & knowledge with us. :)

He has treated me with great skill and empathy for 7 years. Were it not for him I likely would have had several very nasty surgeries, which were not guaranteed to relieve my painful symptoms.

He treats you with respect and dignity which in this day and age is rare from a doctor. He cares your not just a #. He takes his time to listen to your concerns and address them. If you have an emergency he will fit you in to his schedule so you do not have to wait weeks to see him. He has help me so that I am able to continue working a very physical job. He is the BEST

Dr Yu is awonderful , understanding and very skilled physician. I have had several procedures done by him and all have been very successful in alleviating my back pain. Ive been sufffering with back issues for years and he is the first physician that has been able to relieve my significant discomfort. At one point I couldn't even stand up from a chair. He is very caring and has an absolutely wonderful bedside manner. This doctor listens and doesnt dismiss your issues as being insignificant .

Great doctor! Completely thourough with his examination of my MRI. Showed me what normal discs looked like compared to mine. I will be seeing him for every pain concern i have. I am thankful to have met great doctors these past couple of weeks. I would recommend him to everyone!
