When I met Dr Smokenski the first time a few years ago, I could barely walk, couldn't ride a bike, couldn't swim, and had lost enjoyment of many activities. I have been going to Dr. Smolenski for about six years. By far he is a favorite Dr! He has always been able to help with managing pain. I would highly recommend him!

He is the only doctor that has listened to me, I have been seeing him for the past 5 years and I'm glad I was referred to him. He's smart, compassionate, he listens and finds the best way to treat you. I can't say enough about him.

Dr. Smolenski has been the only pain management doctor that has taken the time to get to know me and my medical issues. He truly seems to care about his patients and their well-being. He has helped me immensely in the time I have been seeing him.

Dr Smo is an excellent doctor! He explains things well and gets results! He takes time with you and is very through. I would highly recomend him! Front desk did lack a little in appointment scheduling. This was my experience from a few years ago in Brighton.

Dr. Smolensky is the BEST pain doctor I’ve ever had in the 30yrs of dealing with my neck pain & subsequent surgeries & procedures. He listens, cares & isn’t the type of doctor that pushes expensive procedures on you. He really does an outstanding job for you. I would send everyone I love to Dr. Smolensky if they had pain issues.

Dr. Smolensk has been my Pain Management doctor for about 4 years. He listens intently and provides a top notch Dr./patient relationship.

I needed a few cervical facet joint injections, which I was really dreading. It was my first time meeting Dr Smolenski, he was very nice and made sure that he answered any questions that I may have had. The injections were relatively painless, even with just local anesthetic, which is always a nice surprise.

Tried seeing a pain medical doctor, but ended treatment for he could not handle 1 session whereby my spouse and R.N. had a philosociial agreement with him. 2-years later needed to find another doctor, the last one retired, and tried going back to him, was a Big Mistake. I was told that he would not see me due to the 1 discussion that took place 2-years ago with my spouse. I would not trust this person, judgemental and cruel, in my experience.

While I really like Dr Smolenski his reception/front desk staff is awful!!!!! I literally called for a month straight and had to leave 5 or more messages to even talk to someone to get an appointment. I don't know if they don't need the business but for a person in pain save yourself the frustration and find someone who has a staff that cares and isn't rude. When I finally did talk to someone to schedule they tried to discourage me from making an appointment. Fire your scheduling people

I gave this doctor my full trust to treat my pain. Even though I didn't want to try methadone, I gave in and gave it a try. I was on 300mg of morphine & 2 5/325mg 3x a day of oxycodone, he put me on 10mg of methadone 2xday & 1 5/325mg 3xday oxycodone. I was told that after 3 days I should know if it's gonna work for me. I started going though withdrawals called the office was told to wait through the weekend and see. I call again today and was told give it the whole 2 weeks. So angry & sick now.
