Dr. Andrew Robert Simonsen

Our daughter was scheduled for a short procedure but was canceled because she had half a cup of clear broth 5 hours and 45 minutes before. We asked to speak to someone about why it was canceled and not delayed. By the time someone had come, it had been 7 and a half hours since she had eaten it, Dr. Simonsen was still operating on the previously scheduled patient, and another anesthesiologist had spoken to us saying their staff was now comfortable and willing to proceed at that point. However, we were told Dr. Simonsen just didn't want to do the procedure anymore and he refused to speak to us again or explain his reasoning. Multiple staff members told us that they tried to convince him otherwise. The entire experience was confusing and frustrating to our family. How he can do that to a 7 year old girl who needs the procedure done, took off from school, and had otherwise not eaten for almost 24 hours? To us, this seemed unethical, unprofessional, and immoral.

I am the mom of a 5 year old with Down Syndrome. Our son was born with a congenital heart defect and choanal atresia. We checked out of the NICU and ran to the office of Dr. Simonsen and Maddern. Dr. Simonsen really listens to us, even when the NCIU staff didn't. He repaired our son's choanal atresia at 6 weeks of life, which in my mind saved our son's life. Good choice for pediatric ENT!

Dr. Simonsen performed a supraglottoplasty surgery on our daughter at nine days old. A true success!!! We are so very pleased and blessed to have him as our Ent doc. He is super caring, friendly, and professional. He covered all our questions and concerns, and made us feel comfortable about the situation. We HIGHLY reccomend Mr.Simonsen! Thankyou.

Dr. Simonsen is more than a good doctor. I value the fact that he is a good listener. He takes the time to listen and to make patients feel valued and respected. I would highly recommend him to all my family and friends.

Dr. Simonsen is very professional and caring. He made such a difference in our daughters life.
