Great staff and Dr.

Dr SHERMAN is amazing, as well as his PARTNERS and STAFF!!! Dr SHERMAN, took me on not once but twice. The first time he had to replace My accending aorta. 10 months later I contracted sepsis and it coursed through me for weeks due to a unnamed former physician from a different organization. When I got to Dr Sherman my chances were slim. I requested he do the surgery. He and all of his team worked tirelessly for 13 hours to save my life. Now after almost two years, here I sit, maybe not in perfect shape due to my own choices ( emphasize) . Dr Sherman, THANK YOU FOR SAVING MY LIFE. TWICE... May GOD always be at your side!!! Dr Sherman, I believe did an unnecessary procedure that resulted in my mother’s death. The office apologized several times but it is unacceptable and inexcusable. Several doctors at the hospital responded by saying “I don’t know what he was thinking”.

He performed a double bypass on my husband in September 2020. Surgery was a great success. Dr Sherman kind, explained everything, pros and cons.

Dr. Sherman and his group are the best of the best! Dr. Sherman is the smartest surgeon I’ve ever met! His knowledge and confidence is unparalleled! So thankful that he is in our Tampa Bay area. Being in the healthcare field myself I will make sure that I recommend him to everyone I know. Thank you from the big Vazquez family!

From the moment I called Dr. Sherman's office I felt comforted. I was treated with such kindness and compassion. Dr. Sherman is a very busy man with immense demands on his time but you would never know it when you are with him. He takes the time to answer every last question with patience and understanding. Dr. Sherman not only saved my mother’s life from a blood clot behind her heart, he has been an integral part of her care at St. Joseph’s hospital. Along with the other doctors, nurses (who were fantastic) and staff. The term “It takes a Village” is so true in terms of quality of care. Me and my family are so grateful to Dr. Sherman for his dedication and bedside manner for our mom. We will forever be grateful to him. Dr. Sherman is very knowledgeable and made us feel that my husband was in the best care. His medical knowledge, as well as his bedside manner are excellent. Having bypass surgery during Covid was especially stressful. His care of the family and his office's interactions with us after surgery were excellent.

Dr. Sherman and his staff are fantastic!! They worked with my father, H. Budden, through the process of deciding if he needed open heart surgery or if a stint was the best option at his age. Dr. Sherman spoke with my father's cardiologist, Dr. Ismail, in Zephyrhills and they agreed a stint will do what he needs to provide him with quality of life. My father had the stint procedure today and everything went great!! When speaking with my sister today I also learned that Dr. Sherman performed his first quad open heart surgery without lung on my brother-in-law Stuart Caudill IV. Dr. Andrew Sherman just performed a quadruple bypass on me and although I am sure there are many others who could have done the job successfully he was the one I chose. Great personality and fantastic staff ( even the few I got a little testy with)Not my first choice of things to do but would I go thru it again. YES as long as he did the surgery. Dr. Andrew Sherman WATCH OUT!! I had an open heart Surgery over a year and 3 month ago after having this preform this DR. NEVER took the time to see me after the surgery. I experience the most terrifying recovery and the most terrifying results .. HE PREFORMED THE OPEN HEART SURGERY AND HIS TEAM FORGOT TO PUT A STENT in the main artery ... I suffered for an entire year and i was push to walk away from his team and found help with a different team. This people take your money and preform surgeries that are not necessary .. Dr. Sherman did an exceptional job with my double bypass surgery and did it without stopping my heart. He is an amazing surgeon. His staff is wonderful and I would recommend him to everyone that needs Cardiovascular surgery.

I was referred to Dr. Sherman in September 2018 by my cardiologist and although he was, not on my list of " Tier 1 - Preferred Providers" , per my insurance network, I did not hesitate to make the appointment, and once I met Dr. Sherman and his staff I was glad I did. The office staff were respectful and professional even though I am sure I bored them with my numerous questions - no one appeared irritated or annoyed. I must say that Cheryl- RN, and both Physician Assistants ( I am sorry that I cannot remember their names- I know one had a Bully breed dog ) had Great bedside manner. Although polite and patient they did not sugar coat the facts and assisted "you" to make an informed decision. I had a Mitral Valve Repair with an Aortic ring clip done on December 10, 2018 and was back to work full duty on 01/20/2019. I could have returned on 01/09/2019 but my employer had other ideas. Very kind and caring. Helped me and my husband to understand what was going on with his heart. Dr. Sherman and his staff was very helpful with explaining what they were going to do with my husband during his surgery and even told us that the best choice was to do a triple by pass instead of doing stents. Dr. Sherman was able to help my husband through a very difficult surgery. He was very knowledgeable and ready to help. My Husbands recovery went very well, usual pain and discomfort but that was to be expected. He didn’t need any blood in the OR, which is awesome. I would recommend him to my family and friends for sure.

Dr Sherman is a hero in my eyes. Six years ago he preformed triple bypass on my 82 year old father. I believe Dr Sherman was divinely inspired. I worried about my father's advanced age for such a traumatic procedure. My father came through with flying colors. He went on to do the things he loved. He worked until he was 85 and continued to play tennis and work out at the gym. We are blessed to still have him with us at 88 years of age. He still feels great. I can't thank Dr Sherman enough.

In real trouble I was flown to St. Joseph’s. As a boy I attended a St. Joseph. A young man I moved & started a family in St. Joseph Parish. Moved to FL, our children schooled & married at St. Joseph. As an old man, my life in his hands, was sent to St. Joseph’s, handed into Dr. Andrew Sherman’s special hands to save my life. I saw 4 doctors before I saw dr Sherman. Dr Sherman was the only dr who knew what to do. He did my thoracotomy without titanium staples,which one other dr recommended. His entire staff was excellent.

Dr Sherman is an extraordinary and very competent Specialist , he saved my live . I came few weeks ago from Cuba , I never expect the excellent attention and hight medical level. Thanks Dr Sherman , thanks to every body

I am a 28 year old male with congenital aortic valve stenosis. I am 7 days post op from receiving on x mechanical aorta valve. And I am already home recovering and starting to feel normal again. Dr sherman did an amazing job. All of the techs and nurses at st. Josephs were incredible during my recovery. Anytime i have any post op questions i call and get immediate answers. Thank you thank you thank you everyone at st. Josephs. Hopefully i will enjoy many years to come with friends and fam.
