Mr. Andrew Alex Selzman

Rude office staff. Patients are run through like cattle. If you want a cold, uncaring atmosphere then he's your doctor. He has to know how horrible his staff is. Lots of bad reviews. Wish I had read them all before making an appointment.

I have been seeing Dr. Andrew Selzman for several years, and consider myself lucky to have him as a physician. He is a knowledgeable no nonsense Doctor who will tell you the facts as they are. He listens and answers questions when asked. His Staff too, especially Kathrin and JP are most helpful and pleasant to deal with, I actually look for to visiting his office to be able to see them. I would recommend him to friends and family. Charles Slement

I will not recommend. THIS DOCTOR IS VERY UNETHICAL. Only cares about $$. He keeps setting up appts to discuss test results that were already discussed over the phone. The only goal is to bill me and the insurance company. Even after admitting and acknowledging his nurse accidentally set up the appts and there's no need to have an appt they still billed my insurance and myself. The office manager is also rude when I explained the situation. My credit card company reimbursed me for the money spent. But how can this unethical behavior be addressed? Sad but true. Extremely caring and helpful.

He has always been great. Very good and very kind.

Great doc. Takes the time to thoroughly explain everything. Great communicator and also quite humorous.

Dr Selzman is a fantastic surgeon. His bedside manner is serious, but tinged with humor. I cannot say enough postive about my surgery, clear of cancer and so grateful to this great doctor.

Dr Andrew Selzman is an excellent surgeon with the knowledge and determination to save lives! Dr Selzman told us my father was cancer free last week! I’m grateful that my father’s oncologist, referred us to Dr Selzman! As an expert urologist and highly skilled surgeon, you will shake your head at yourself if you’ve wasted time with other urologists. Just a note for those that are looking for a doctor with a comforting bedside manner, Dr Selzman isn’t going to provide that for you. He is extremely busy making sure he makes all his rounds and cares for each and every patient. JP-John Paul (spelling!?!) takes the role of a kind, compassionate and empathetic listener; JP adds the perfect balance to Dr Selzman. JP coordinates so that Dr Selzman can perform miracles! Failed vasectomy and demanded payment for second operation when first was a failure. This office is SCAM and do not recommend anyone to visit this memorial Hermann group.

Find another Doctor. Failed vasectomy and when return for 2nd operation, demanded additional payment. Office manager Toisha Parker was combative, acknowledged their error but demanded to payment. Do not Recommend - I’ll take my business to a company/organization that takes pride in their service and stands behind the quality of their Doctors vs hiding behind documents.

I have been his patient for over a year now. Very knowledgeable. And the most important factor to me, he takes the time to talk to you and explain what is going on. In other words, he is never in a hurry to talk to his patients.

Dr Selzman is the best. I’ve had experience with a few other dermatologists with myself and parents. Dr Selzman is by far the best. Knowledgeable, great staff, good bedside manner, efficient with time in the office. Great person. Highly recommend!

Dr.Selzman deserves a 5+ star rating! He is highly qualified, professional and has the expertise to take amazing care of you! He has an extra bonus of being genuine, caring and thoughtful to make you feel at ease with his bedside manner. Wow! I highly recommend him as a doctor.

Experience was very disappointing, he was very aggressive and reluctant to discuss in details the risks and consequences of the procedure he proposed. I consulted with another urologist, whom confirmed that the proposed procedure was unnecessary and far too aggressive. I will never consult with Dr. Selzman again, it seems that he motivation is to perform endless tests and aggressive procedures.

OMG I so blessed to have Dr. Selzmen as my doctor. The first time i meet him, i knew he was the doctor for me. If i could give him more that 5 stars, i would give him a 10.

Possibly the most arrogant doctor around. Rude and his bedside manner is poor. Was a patient of his and had a family member he treated too. Curious if his family walks around on pins & needles like his staff does.

I was referred to Dr. Selzman by a trusted friend. I've been for two visits so far. On the second visit he, advised that a surgical procedure was necessary to make things better for me. Dr. Selzman, IMHO, is an excellent and well-seasoned professional with many years of experience. He explains things well and will answer any questions you might have. His "team" of assistants are attentive while I was there. All in all, I would recommend this Urologist for your personal needs. I was referred to Dr. Selzman by a trusted friend. All I have to say about Dr. Selzman is good, very professional take time to give an explanation on all the procedures and medication, very professional, Nurses very nic and courteous.

Negative reviews on here have to be from maybe an unforeseen circumstance that isn’t in Dr. Selzman’s control. I adore him. He makes patients feel right at home and provides all of the clarity you desire. He is so smart and so friendly. He is an EXPERT. He truly cares about patients and this field. Dr. Selzman is a fantastic Dr. who really put my wife and I at ease when it come to my diagnosis and surgery. I never feel rushed in his office, and he always takes his time to answer any and all questions. Easily the best Dr. I could ask for. I would highly recommend Dr. Selzman!

Dr. Selzman is a blessing to my family. He removed a cancerous tumor from my hereo's "Dad's" left kidney. My dad has been in remission for 3 years. Prior to meeting Dr. Selzman, two doctors refused to operate. Dr Selzman explained the pros and cons concerning the surgery. He showed compassion, and empathy throughout my father's healing process. I would trust Dr. Selzman with my life as I trusted him with my father's life. Thank You is not enough for what he did for our family.

Dr. Selzman is a great doctor. He was my surgeon 10 years ago and I have been seen by him since. He is always professional. I highly recommend him.

My son’s pediatrician sent us to Dr Selzman about 3 years ago and was awesome. However we already knew that since Dr. Selzman has been my mother’s dr since 2010 for bladder cancer. He has also treated my father since 2017-18. Dr. Selzman is incredibly knowledgeable and a very talented surgeon. I will agree that his bedside manner can be very brusque, BUT personally I would rather have a talented Dr who knows his field than a family friend. Highly recommend!

Dr Selzmam has been my urologist for the better part of 15 years. He is easy to talk to and his care has been top notch. I consider him one of the best in his field. 5 stars.

Makes patience wait for an hour. Very rude. Called my care giver a pimp. Very arrogant. About the money not the patiences.

I am retired . I am going to be brutally honest about this Dr. He don’t care about people. He cares about money. He did not only looked stressed to me but also tired and very unhappy. Appearance was not of a professional. I was in he’s office approximately an hour and a half to have an examination that lasted less then 2 min. The practice It’s an assembly line concerned about quantity. Not quality care for people. I immediately cancelled the follow-up in the office surgery he had scheduled. Sorry Doc. It is what it is. Other Urologists suggested I buy a shovel, as my situation in their opinion was hopeless. I'm alive today thanks to him. We have a family friend, who likewise had a very grim prognosis. Seltzman turned the situation around and he is alive and well today thanks to Andy. Now, I have nothing good to say about the supporting treatment from Memorial pre and post surgery. It was a zoo and I gave them a scathing review. Their bungling and complete lack of discipline was almost intolerable. Dr selzman is the best!!! He explains things very well. He is easy to talk with, he takes the time needed to make you feel comfortable and makes sure you understand what is going on with your problem. I was referred to Dr. Selzman because my PSA was elevated. He is a kind and straight forward doctor and I would highly recommend him. After learning that I had prostate cancer, he spent a lot of time answering my questions and allaying my fears. His clinic is staffed with very caring professionals. Despite the fact that I do have cancer, I felt upbeat after my appointments with him.

Submitted a lab, was told to wait for a call for results. No call came, called office, no answer left message. Nurse called 24 hours later to let me know that the doc would be on vacation for the next 2 weeks and I wouldn't get my results for another 2 weeks. 6 weeks and no results. Not to mention they lost my file and had none of my information when I called in.
