9/4/2020 I called to schedule a appointment because I had not heard from the office to schedule a appointment. I called and left a message at lunch time which was never returned. When I called later I explained that I was calling to schedule a appointment and was referred by my primary Dr and wound care specialist. I was told that they NEVER received a referral from either. I cannot give this doctor or his staff even 1 star. I guess I have to give him 1 star so it will post. The doctor is totally unprofessional and his staff is worse. He actually asked if my brother-in-law if he had mental problems... because he was questioning him. If you want or even more importantly need good care for your feet 'DON'T GO TO DR. My family HAS been following Dr.Rothstein since he was in the basement of the Arco Building in L.A, to his position with the veterans administration in long Beach, and out to the palm desert. I am in Las Vegas these days, and wouldn't hesitate to drive out or fly out for this man. He is the most knolagable and caring podiatrist you have ever met. He has a skill that you dont just find anywhere these days. His Jersey accent is a hoot, but beyond that, i can't say enough great stuff about Andrew. He is a true super star TO A HATED INDUSTRY. I usually have no complaints (honestly), I'm mostly an optimist, especially when it comes to having opinion about Doctor's, as I always assume them to be esteemed professionals (yes, they are human too). To be fair, Dr. Rothstein was kind of cool at first (during first one or two visits), and his staff was wonderful always. But, after my third (or so) visit, Dr. Rothstein became dismissive with my concerns, and only gave me cortisone shots, then sent me on my way (with little to no discussions). I felt that he lacked empathy (and didn't care much). Moreover, he provided little or no feedback regarding my condition. I felt he had a snarky demeanor (rude), and just wanted to move onto the next patient... I see why one of the other patients comments, referred to him as a "jerk." But I don't want to go that far, and I know these are stressful and wonky times (given the COVID-19 Epidemic). But, having been treated like that, made it easy for me to say "I'm never go back there again."

I absolutely love this doctor. He is thorough he is complete and he is intelligent. I've been to other podiatrist but none as good as Dr. Rothstein

He’s very warm and friendly. We felt comfortable and he answered all of our questions thoroughly.

Dr. Rotstein and his staff were Professional and very helpful. I was able to get in and take care of my right foot pain before my trip to Europe. I would definitely recommend this office.

(Indio location)Staff was very rude and unprofessional the manager was worst than her staff. RECEPTIONIST kept on hanging up on me........

The office entry was not clean the staff very unhelpful and Dr Rothstein himself was a jerk. He did minor surgery on my wife's toenail his nurse wrapped the toe so poorly and so tightly another physician had to re wrap that night. They denied my Medicare/medical coverage because their portal had bad info. I tried to guide them to the correct number but they wouldn't listen. Go somewhere else. Very distasteful stubborn people.

He told me I tore tendons in my foot, had trouble reading my x-Rays and asking what I saw in the x-Rays!? I'm not a Podiatrist, reasoning for making the visit. He used profanity the entire office visit. The x -Rays were done without a protective radiation jacket. My foot feels even worse now that the cast has been on. Problem not solved. I will seek another opinion.

Probably a good doctor but after xrays and mri he's still not sure what's wrong. Told me it was tendonitis but the pain doesn't match with tendonitis. Will get another opinion.
