I tried to make an appointment with Dr, Ribner but I have been told that Optum has closed their ENT Dept. I never received a notice. What am I supposed to do??

He did flawless sinus surgery for me.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Ribner. He is kind, professional, and highly experienced. I needed rhinoplasty because I broke bones during multiple falls due to a chronic disease. The surgery was no problem and the result is amazing. There was no pain, minimal bleeding, and when the bandage came off in a week I was thrilled. There is absolutely no inflammation and therefore no waiting months for your nose to recover. I highly recommend him both for his skill and his kindness.

I was not happy with my experience with Dr. Ribner or his office. I was scheduled for a septoplasty for a deviated septum. Surgery was scheduled.,approved by ins. At pre op, 2 wks prior to surgery, Dr. decided to insert stents to open the nasal passage further (?). Had to be ok’d by ins. Day b4 surgery, I don’t hear from hosp. I call. I ‘m not on the schedule. My surgery was cancelled ??. No one called me ?? Hospital called back, put me on the schedule, be there @ this time, surgery is @ 12:00. Four hours later, I have surgery. Only seen twice po. Stents put in too high. Painful to wear glasses. Dr. was going to remove them but had to watch a video on how to do it. My right nasal passage is worse than b4. It’s 18 mos.

Dr. Ribner is a competent physician. He kept me well informed about the treatment for my problem. His staff is a nice group. Billing's a concern, because even though I paid my office visit fee before being seen for the first time, it was never recorded. So, I keep receiving bills from DaVita Billing Office telling me I owe them money. When I asked the National Billing phone operator how to correct this error, I was told that they can't do anything to fix the problem, so I owe. Doc is good, tho.

I was not pleased with this doctor at all. I need an emergency procedure done according to ER doc he made me wait almost 13 hours before finally performing the procedure. Where I then ended up in a hospital in another city for 2 weeks because of damage done to my esauphagus.

It has been about two years since my deviated septum was fixed by Dr. Ribner. It really has changed my life. I no longer need a sleep apnea breathing machine to get a good night's sleep. I had panic attacks in the middle of the night because my body was not getting enough oxygen. I would wake up in a terrible panic because my body was warning me that I wasn't taking in enough oxygen. The sleep study I did confirmed this. The operation fixed my breathing problem with no weight loss.

I saw him for chronic nosebleeds. @told him I had a reception that day. He criticized equipment at DaVita Journal Cntr, used only silver nitrate sticks, ignored pain I reported. At home I phoned the oncall # due to a 30 min nosebleed. When he phoned back-45 min; bleeding had stopped. In answer to the black stain circling skin of my nostrils, he said ‘wear a scarf.’ It took a week before stain gone-he gave no warning!Reviews show he takes good care of people with $$making surgery

Dr. Ribner was completely dismissive regarding my daughter's ear problem. He spent less than two minutes examining her before he stated that she had no wax and no other problems, despite the pain and loss of hearing she was experiencing. I would NOT recommend Dr. Ribner.

Had a closed nasal reduction to correct a broken nose, done by Dr. Ribner. He did a pretty great job, and took good care of me the whole time, and was attentive and responsive to my numerous questions and worries. It's been a couple years since surgery and my nose is hardly noticeably crooked, unless I point it out.

Dr. Ribner is the best ENT/plastic surgeon out there. I suffered from a deviated septum and a bump from an old fracture, and haven't been able to breath very well for years. Dr Ribner's not only an artist at what he does, but he genuinely cares about his patients. Both him and his staff are so sweet and are always there to ensure that you have a speedy and comfortable recovery. I have a renewed quality of life ( I can BREATHE!) and am much more confident with my physical appearance.

Dr Ribner performed septoplasty and bilateral turbinate reduction surgery to correct longtime breathing difficulty. On each visit he was always professional, explained the procedure, and entertained any questions. The surgery was unbelievably pain-free and successful in correcting my breathing problem.

He helped me out through all my problems.

Dr. Ribner is the best ENT I have seen. He takes time to listen to his patients and he explains everything. I like that when he did PE tube in office he explained everything he was doing before he did it. Also I liked that he numbed my ear before making the incision and that he drained the ear infection before putting the PE tube into my ear. In addition, this was the first time I did not jump out of my skin getting them put in. Dr. Ribner puts his patients first.

He has forgotten what a Hippocratic Oath is and his staff is extremely rude to patients. He also is 1 hour late for all his appointments!
