A spectacular experience! Dr.Pruitt and his team performed Mitral Valve repair on me with Davinci (XI) assist minimally invasive mitral valve repair. The surgery and outcome was amazing. From the beginning Dr. Pruitt provided great insight, details, explained risks, etc. on performing this surgery. His office staff was just as amazing in making me feel special. They (Tanya and Jenn) went out of their way to minimize all the pre and post surgery stress with appointments, insurance, tests and follow up. The actual surgery was on a Monday and on Thursday I was heading home. 10 days later I feel great! A down to earth, warm individual with the hands of God. That's how we felt after meeting with him, on a pretty much emergency basis and then a few weeks later, my husband having a pretty complicated heart surgery. He's fully recovered and doing well. I was diagnosed with CAD and my best treatment option was to have a bypass surgery. We met many surgeons in the south east Michigan area before we decided to go with Dr. Pruitt. The first time we met with Dr. Pruitt was in his office. He explained patiently my situation and options, his treatment plans and risks, and post operation care etc. until we ran out of questions. We felt great confidence and trust on him. I had CRBG x 3. All done within 3.5 hrs. Stayed in historical for 3 days and walked out on my own power. Now, 10 days after the operation, I have been walking 3 miles / walk (twice a day) and felt great. I am amazed how thin the incision is. I was expecting a zipper there ...
