Dr. Andrew Victor Panagos

This is a review for Dr. Panagos' receptionist. She was so rude that I never got to the point of seeing Dr. Panagos for my pain.

Upon first impression Dr. Panagos was friendly and helpful. He went over my test results and answered what questions he could. He did not answer my questions in full detail and the appointment was rushed. Had to get a second opinion. It is to be noted that his staff were also rude.

Always on time. Professional and listens to the patient.

Dr. Panagos was great. He was gentle and very caring. He was also on. Time. I would definitely recommend him . Harriet BRESLOW

If you want a doctor to talk you into being on high doses of morphine for 13 years (as a responsible patient) and then lie, say he is retiring and transitioning all his patients to other doctors and also lie and say they won't change your treatment, but they say you are going to be taken off and given no alternative pain management for severe, intractable pain, then go see Dr Panagos, assuming that the #DEA hasn't taken him into custody yet.

Many years later I am still using Dr. Panagos. I have a condition that is not well known/easy to treat as it manifests in many ways. He is always on top of the latest research and really takes the time to understand what you do that might be creating a problem. In 2016 I had an incident that messed up my neck again. It's not great to begin with- we ended up doing a course of prolotherapy. I cannot tell you how much this changed my level of pain (went down immensely) & my quality of life (went up immensely). I understand that it's not covered & costly treatment but it truly worked. Dr. P is more of a partner in trying to get you well, than a typical dr who just gives you a script and sends you on your way. I feel so grateful to have found him back in 2009 & am thankful he is still nearby to help me when I need it. I cannot recommend him enough. His office staff are wonderful as well and do all they can to work with your insurance to get approvals and such.

Dr Panagos is a good doctor but did not give me correct treatment for my injury. However, after having visited more than 10 doctors offices in the past year, I can with certainty say that the receptionists at this clinic were by far the rudest staff and had absolutely nothing nice to say.

Dr. Panagos is a model physician. He is an excellent diagnostician and very compassionate. He listens and discusses his evaluation in language that I can understand. He invites questions and has such a wide range of experience that he brings to help guide your decision making. He will recommend exercise, PT, or further testing. He is very conservative regarding surgery and recommends all other forms of treatment unless it is truly necessary. For that reason alone, he is an excellent physician to provide a second opinion.

I had a lot of faith in Dr. Panagos due to his excellent bedside manner and the extreme confidence he demonstrated in his diagnosis. That said, Dr. Panagos missed the very specific root cause of my injury in the MRI (glossing over all the specifics in the report stating everything in my MRI was "consistent with aging"). Instead we pursued a course of experimental injections. During this time I was unable to walk without pain. I subsequently saw another Doctor that immediately and correctly diagnosed my issued based on the same MRI, with this new Doctor we pursued a course of treatment that has since ended my pain.

Dr Panagos is possibly one of the best in his field in the metropolitan area. He works closely with others who are also consistently ranked in the top of their field. He always starts conservatively but will ultimately relieve your pain. Finally, his office is one of the very few in which there is little to no waiting. Once again I had to do the dreaded EMG. Dr. Panagos was so patient and understanding. He explained every step, he was compassionate and made it a breath. He talked with me about the results, suggested how to deal with the problem and made me feel at ease. Dr. Panagos is a wonderful human being and a very proficient doctor, who knows what he is doing and does his job professionally and compassionately. Also, I had an appointment for 10 days from now, and I got a call from his office

Dr. Panagos and his Office Manager, Susan could not have been nicer or more professional. Dr. Panagos is gentle, caring and very knowledgeable. He explained every step of the procedure I had done thoroughly and accurately. I would recommend this practice to anyone.
