Poor staffing ! Can't answer questions correctly. So they get frustrated and hang up .

The doctor and the staff were upbeat and friendly, the office was bright, airy and spotless. I was seen quickly and Dr. Ondo took time to address my areas of concern and answer any questions I had and I didn't feel rushed out the door. Highly recommended!

Dr. Ondo was referred to me by a family friend/physician. As a new patient, I was highly satisfied with the initial assessment. He did a thorough examination outside of the concerns I expressed. He was very informative to my specific issues and easy to understand. He suggested several options and gave solutions to help with my needs. Office waits are short and offices are clean. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Ondo is friendly but is very focused on you and your issues. Have gone to him for years and can heartily recommend.

Very efficient office. Care by doctor and staff was excellent. I had a painless skin biopsy with call back on results. Treatment prescribed was effective. Staff are friendly, knowledgeable very helpful.

Condescending. Uninterested. Does not listen. Kept insisting on an untrue assumption of my condition, ignoring everything I was telling him about the problem. Incorrect diagnosis based on what HE thinks and NOT what you have told him. Narcissistic. Or maybe just doesn't like older patients or females. There are other dermatologists in Las Cruces. Keep looking.

Called to make an appointment and the receptionist lady was so RUDE. I'm sure the doctor is great, but unfortunately before you get to the doctor you have to go through the rudest receptionist ever. It seemed as if I was interrupting her personal conversation or something. Sorry you can't chit chat with your coworkers some other time. Sorry you have do do your job. When will these doctors understand the office personal they hire are the face of the practice? These doctors should get rid of these rude receptionists, especially the lady that took my call. Excellent staff and very caring of their patients! Dr. Ondo is wonderful! I highly recommend Dr. Ondo!

The staff was conscientious and courteous. The medical assistant was very kind hearted and attentive. Dr. Ondo is extremely informative, thorough and professional.

This is Mrs. Ronald Cauthon. I had a skin problem that turned serious last month. After I began treatment I had lots of questions. I called in to see if some of my questions could be answered and Dr. Ondo's staff called back the same day, made the next appt. and gave me a new prescription, all in the same phone call. Really enjoy his demeanor with me. Interested in my concerns and explains treatment and procedures throughly. I have not felt rushed r that he is in a hurry to get to the next patient. Would highly recommend him.

Im appalled by the staff this doctor has, they were very rude and unhelpful. We were in an emergency situation, when we were informed they didnt take my mothers insurance they became curt, rude and very bitchy for a lack of better terms. Ive heard such good things about this Doctor but his staff makes him less than favorable.

The entire staff is a pleasure to work with. They are friendly, helpful, listen carefully to the patient and do their best too accomodate the patients schedule. They also follow through if you as to be put on the cancellation list. As soon as they get a cancellation that gets you in faster, they call. Great place.

Dr. Ondo was very hurried and condescending during my visit. I felt like I was inconveniencing him with my medical issues and questions. There was no communication about billing for a simple procedure until I received a hefty bill in the mail. When I called about it, I was condescended to by his office staff, who were NOT compassionate, caring, patient or understanding at all. I will never be returning to him.

I am 78 years old and have healthy skin. I am taking a medication that may make me susceptible to melanomas. I have seen Dr. Ondo two times, separated by 5 years. Each time it took a while to get an appointment, but the care that I received was outstanding: Dr Ondo was on schedule, the examination was unhurried and thorough, my questions were answered to my satisfaction, and the office staff was helpful and pleasant. I was amazed that, with the time separation between the first and second visits, Dr. Ondo remembered me, including some personal details which we discussed at the first visit. I have been seeing Dr. Ondo for many years. I think he is a GREAT dermatologist. Takes care of the problems I've developed from too much sun for too long. He is calm, kind, attentive and knowledgeable. The best.

I called to Schedule an appointment and was asked what Insurance I had and then was told November was the next available appointment for a new Patient I said ok and was told that November 5th was their next available and I asked if they had openings on the 11th of November or if he would be seeing patients the week of Thanksgiving and I was informed maybe Dr Kerners office would have availability the days I was looking for and the only day they were seeing new patients was Nov 5th. When I asked if I could see if they had any openings in December and I was informed that Dr Ondo would be out of the office the whole month of December and that they could not touch that month for appts. I was not trying to get in for an appointment right away I understand that he is a busy Doctor and I was trying to get my niece in for an appointment and they will be traveling from Alamogordo where they do not have a dermatologist. I was a patient of Dr Ondo for years and have not needed to go back in many years but because of this experience I will also take my business elsewhere as suggested by your staff who suggested Dr Kerner. I also work in a medical office and we have referred out to Dr Ondo several times and a lot of our staff is patients there and we were shocked by your appointment schedulers responses. I have had wonderful experience with Dr Ondo but just had to leave my appointment as he no longer is in network with United Health Care. Sorry , Mike
