Dr. Andrew Mason Monfee

Dr. Monfee has been my, and my family, primary healthcare provider for almost 30 years. As a Senior Diplomat with the State Department and USAID, my family and I lived and served in several states and at least seven countries. I always used him as my doctor. Without a doubt, Dr. Monfee is the most competent, professional, knowledgeable, compassionate, and friendliest physician I have ever known. I strongly and enthusiastically recommend him for any family and friends. He’s second to none not only in Arkansas but in the United States and the world.

I have always received good care and been given needed testing and explanations for any of my health concerns. I have never felt rushed in any of my visits. If I have a concern or issue, I have gotten an appointment within a day or two depending on the seriousness of the issue. I have always received great treatment and concern from all of the clinic's staff.

My experiences have been mostly good, there is one office employee that has been nasty, but overall good experience. She is kind of short and stocky, dark hair, perhaps billing or medical records, hateful person.

Monfee refused to fill all my prescriptions for over a year. Lab test Sept 2018 showed stage 3 kidney failure. In-house tests performed in Jan2020 showed no signs of any kidney problems. When you are in kidney failure it is very important to keep blood sugars and Blood pressure under control plus being denied medications for edema did not help. Monfee's neglect caused rapid progression of kidney disease and then in Aug. He terminated me for no reason. Waited for over a month to send me the letter and only gave me 20 days to find a new doctor. Every doctor and clinic that was excepting new patients turned me down and said "they could not accept me as a patient." They do not even know me nor would they give me an explanation. I assume someone was very busy plus they also broke HIPPA laws. Lab test were very questionable and can not even be justified by other medical professionals. It's a shame that people will cover up for the neglect of doctors and which may shorten other people lives.

For over a year, doctor would not fill prescriptions for Type 2 diabetic, edema or cholesterol meds because he did not like them. Out side lab test Sept 2018 showed stage 3 kidney disease, he denied I had, Jan. 2019 in-house lab test showed I had perfect kidney function. I suffered for a year with UTI's, high glucose readings, and heart problems from lack of meds. Aug.2019 Monfee allowed his practitioner to fill scripts in order to cover his neglect. 2 days later I was terminated. I did not receive letter til the following month with only 20 days to find a new doctor. I do not recommend this doctor. My life has been cut very short because of the lack of care and medications I should have received.

Started seeing Monfee over a year ago because I was told that he was the best doctor in Russellville, AR. Lab tests Sept 2018 showed stage 3 kidney disease. When asked, "he said I did not have any kidney problems." He would not fill my diabetic, edema, or cholesterol meds, because he did not like them. Any one with any sense knows that if you have kidney disease you keep your Glucose and Bp under control. Not this doctor! Jan. 2019 Monfee's in-house labs showed my kidneys were in perfect shape. Really? Finally found new doctor in Oct. 2019 after being terminated by Monfee for no apparent reason in August, new labs showed I am knocking on the door of stage 4 kidney disease. Monfee's lab test Jan 2019 falsely stated results, He refused medications that could have slowed down the progress of kidney failure. I suffered for over a year with UTI's, severe back pain, no medications, only to be terminated for no apparent reason. Then when I tried to obtain a new doctor, every call I made to clinics and doctors, I was told, "that they would not accept me as a patient." Would not even give me an explanation. Someone was awfully busy to black-list me from so many clinics. I would not recommend this doctor for any health care. But I am very thankful to the new doctors I have now, very professional awesome people and they could teach Monfee a few things about providing proper care. If I would have had these great people for the past 2.5 years, I might not be preparing for my end of life this soon. Because when a doctor refuses to provide proper care and medications, your life is cut very short.

What a great guy! Knows his stuff and is easy to communicate with. Takes his time.

LOVE THIS DR. FRIENDLY NURSES receptionist and staff never in there too long
