Dr. Andrew James Lerrick

Exceptional Adenoma on my parotid gland Explained what it was, answered numerous questions (he and office staff at UHS were super) and removed the adenoma. Very thorough and exceptionally patient with me.

Run- don't walk- away from this doctor. He never stopped talking about himself or other patients. Waited to long to re-biopsy a growth on my tongue, despite the lesion growing, and getting angrier, and painful.( It was on the same side of my face where I had had cancer before) Eight months later and finally removed it in surgery- and the biopsy was cancer. Had he just re-biopsied it when I asked- I wouldn't have a big a chunk out of my tongue where food gets stuck, and a speech impairment. Terrible.

I had surgery with Dr. Lerrick, and can agree with these other reviews. He is a danger to his patients. He told me all the wrong things to expect from my surgery, and I have had problems ever since. There is something wrong with this man.

this so call doctor needs to go back to medical school, he severely messed up my surgical procedure and then had lied to my family members. he is obsessed with himself that he has know ides how to even preform the needs of his patients, my recommendation he get a another opinion before he preforms anything on you!

Wow. Hide your loved ones. My family and I had an awful expierence with this doctor at Condell Hospital in Libertyville. In fact I would never consider this man a doctor nor have I ever met someone infactuated with hearing their own voice as Andrew Lerrick. Andrew's communication skills and awarness to social norms are the worst in the State. Andrew terrified my dying father and left my family and nurse staff confused. Web MD is more helpful and give you better peace of mind than Andrew Lerrick.

The entire appointment he sat and bragged on and on about how amazing he was and how he had fixed so many people's problems. However, he wouldn't listen to any of the concerns that I had and is continually prescribing expensive procedures that are not necessary. He wants me to have a CT scan for a simple ear infection? He is also constantly complaining about the government and violating HIPAA regulations. A 30 minute appointment turned into 90 minutes because of his complaining.

Do yourself a huge favor and use a different physician. I had Mr. Lerrick perform surgery on me about 8 years ago and have had nothing but problems. Today I saw a doctor who said he has had to correct many of his mistakes on patients and that I am going to be another added to that list. I can't believe he is still in practice. I now have to see a specialist at Loyola in order to fix what he messed up.

As a physician, I always refer my patients to Dr. Lerrick. He is very knowledgeable, compassionate and detailed. He does not treat a symptom, he treats a patient as a whole. His heart is at his work. Dr. Lerrick's sincere interest in his patients, outstanding communication skills and sense of humor make every patient feel special. I recommend Dr. Lerrick to all my patients and relatives.

This doctor is totally into himself. He talks and talks and talks, but never listens to or considers patient needs or concerns. He brags on his experiences, speaks of former patient's private information, and wastes patient's time with his constant talking. In our case, the man failed to take into consideration vital facts while continuing to insist on surgery. After surgery he was difficult to contact and had no bedside manner. By the way, the surgery was not successful.

Dr. Lerrik was a great doctor! My son, being only 12 - said mom that doctor is a 10 out of 10! He was patient, engaging, went over the procedure and spoke in understandable terms. His office staff Colleen went over and above her job in order to make sure my sons prescription was filled. After all pharmacies in the Schaumburg area did not have the narcotic prescription in, she drove a revised script from Des Plaines to Schaumburg so my son had pain meds when he woke up! Highly recommended!!

If I could give negative stars, I would. I brought my son in with a broken nose, & Dr. Lerrick was unprofessional, disengaged, & even said the F word repeatedly. We felt like walking out, and I regret not doing so immediately. Dr. Lerrick spent more time talking about himself and how the fact that Obamacare is negatively affecting his bottomline. During his rant, he discussed his patients procedures in detail, and even mentioned the name of the woman who had just left his office.
