I have chronic anemia. I see Dr Grainger at least 2/yr for 12 years. He is absolutely the VERY best. Also very kind. He listens and hears what you have to say. No rush in, rush out.

Dr. Grainger is very patient and considerate. He takes time to listen to our concerns. I am very grateful for his expertise and would highly recommend him for anyone who needs an oncologist.

Dr. Grainger correctly diagnosed my uncommon lymphoma but failed to treat it for several months. He indicated it was a slow growing lymphoma and there was no need to treat it while I still was in good health. When my health rapidly declined 6 months later, he declared I needed a splenectomy. Before that could happen I got so sick I ended up going to the James Cancer Clinic ER and was admitted. When the 1st oncologist saw me and I recounted what Grainger's approach had been, he looked aghast and commented that a splenectomy should have been the LAST treatment approach and that a form of chemotherapy should have been started immediately upon diagnosis. The James embarked on a chemotherapy based treatment that blocked the disease from progressing. That was almost 5 years ago and I've never looked back

Dr. Grainger is amazing. In a very difficult situation, he has a great bedside manner and explains everything thoroughly and takes all the time the patient needs. Thank you Dr. Grainger!

Dr Grainger had a challenge in treating my 90 plus year old father. Dad agreed to “symptoms only” treatment. Most MD training is to find a problem and try to fix it. Dr Grainger was incredibly gracious and accommodating and worked hard to find solutions. He’s not just smart, he listens and he cares.

My wife was referred to Dr. Grainger. She felt that he has a great personality and is an excellent Doctor. In the last month I have needed to see Dr. Grainger. What a great man! He is an excellent Doctor. We are both so greatful to have been referred to him and his practice. From John and Karen.

Dr. Grainger has a very caring and calm nature. He answers and addresses all concerns. You sometimes have to wait a bit longer than usual, but that is because he always takes a lot of time with his patients.
