They do not verify any benefits. They simply perform services without letting you know in advance. When questioned about this they simply say it is your responsibility. They also told us that our coverage changed mid-year and that was the reason for the charges. We only learned they do not verify benefits after insurance company reviewed and showed they did not verify anything. So if you use them make sure you request services to be performed before they are performed and verify yourself. Otherwise you will have unexpected costs. We took our children here twice and both times had unexpected costs because they verify nothing with insurance. We will never use them again. Staff simply state they do not have the resources to verify. They perform services and see if insurance covers the charges. This is a poor business plan in my opinion to retain patients. The Dentist and Dental students were beyond nice and informative. I was thankful for how quick the appointment was and how hands on the dentist was. However, the front office staff were not welcoming whatsoever.

They do not verify benefits and simply bill anything not covered to you for full payment. When asked about this, they say they do not have the staff to verify benefits and it is your responsibility. But before giving this answer they told us our benefits changed mid year but insurance was never contacted by their office at any time. We visited twice with children and both times we had extra costs because they DO NOT verify benefits before providing services. They tell you it is your responsibility so ask for all services before they are performed and verify yourself or expect extra charges.

I never leave bad reviews for companies, but we’ve had a bad experience with this office since day one. Not only did Dr Chandler mock my toddler and tell him to “stop whining” on his first dental visit when he was scared, they also just sent me a bill saying FINAL NOTICE on payment and “60 days”, even though I’ve never received a bill. On the statement it even shows that they just got the final adjustment back from our insurance company on September 23rd (today is Oct 5th). When I tried to call today to pay, they told me nobody is there on Fridays who can accept payments and I’d have to call back next week. (Pro Tip: Don’t make people who are trying to give you money call back.)The staff who answers the phone has been rude each time I’ve called. Dr. Chandler is very rude and very impatient. I will NEVER take my kids there again. I do NOT recommended. But let me say his assistance was great.Thank you for your kindness and patient you showed my daughter. Pray that you continue to prosper. ,,

We've been coming to Dr. Andy for 3 years now. He has always been wonderful and is great with my girls.

Dr.Chandler has always been amazing with my kids very nice and explains everything my son has been seeing him 2012 and he is now 7 and my daughter is 2 and has been seeing him since her first tooth came in the office lady's are also super nice and amazing I highly recommende this office.

The staff is rude and they charge your insurance for services that were not received! Do NOT recommend!

HORRIBLE! NEEDS TO RETIRE! VERY RUDE & VERY IMPATIENT! Will never return! Will never recommend! The staff is patient & friendly. However, Dr. Chandler has been my children’s dentist for 10 years. I’ve noticed his impatience growing with each visit! My 5 year old unfortunately got a cavity. Upon day of filling the cavity, (my 5 year old, has a deviated septum, theeefore can not only breathe through his nose.) with the gas on he held my sons jaw shut. I told him he couldn’t breathe. Then he put the numbing gel inside his gums before the shot. He did not even wait for the numbing gel to take affect before he started roughly poking in my child’s mouth. Seemingly any where he could get. My child’s gums & lips were bleeding & scratches & torn. Due to his roughness. I still sat holding my child’s hand comforting him. As Dr. Chandler is calling my child (5 year old) immature & needed to be still & shut up. Stated “he had a 5 year old the day before get a filling & dudntmaje a peep.” Well ok I’m a CMA & surgical tech. & this behavior & comments are not ok!!!! As a medical professional my opinion is he is burned out! Or is going through personal issues! Either way NOT OK!!!! Then when he went to put the rubber guard (a piece of rubber that covers the entire mouth. So it’s like haveibg a bag over ur mouth. & the gas was on his nose. A trip to the dentist is frightening enough for anyone. My child is very intelligent & patient. He did not thrash about or scream or holler. Although chandler said he “needed to stop yelling”! He was only asking if it was going to hurt & saying he couldn’t breathe & he was scared. Needless to say we did not fill the cavity! I grabbed my child & left! While Dr Chandler is more than competent in dentistry, he is very brusk and harsh with parents. No parent NEEDS to be made to feel like they’re a terrible parent or be treated like a child. A little kindness and understanding goes a long way.

Trying to find a new dentist as we speak. Not to mention my cousin took her son this morning & he is autistic. I was appalled by the way he treated my daughter. Upon seeing her aprehension as he sat down to start her fillings, instead of calmly talking with her for even 30 seconds, he impatiently stood up and harshly addressed me, "Lt. You need to take your daughter out to the car and have a talk with her before I can do this. I won't wrestle with children." (I was in uniform.. I'm a service member, but I was there as my daughter's mother, I wasn't there to be ordered around. We were customers.) I didn't need to take her outside, I calmly talked with her there and described what they were going to do and it wasn't going to hurt.. you know, stuff he should have probably been doing to build a little trust and report. When he came back, his mannerisms were still very harsh and abrupt and my daughter again got very apprehesive and started sitting up. That's when he tried to restrain her, not very gently I might add, and then got frustrated and pretty much grabbed her out of the chair and stood her next to him and began to go on about how she needed to grow up and mature before she could get fillings and how he wasn't going to wrestle with children etc. My daughter was, of course, bawling and upset, I was livid and he never once attempted to calmly talk with her, he was only harsh, critical and very abrupt. We had a terrible first time visit at this office. My six year old, who is frightened of x-rays/afraid she will gag (because she did at our prior dentist), was referred here because they would better be able to handle our situation (even mentioned that they may be able to mildly sedate her for the process). Long story short, she refused to allow them to do the x-rays, and we were told by the woman attempting the x-rays that we'd have to "do it Dr. Chandler's way".... he barely spoke to or acknowledged my daughter, reamed us on no gummys, capri suns, etc... (added sugar should only be given during meals- so I guess I'll feed her cupcakes for breakfast.... note my sarcasm). He tried to force her into the x-rays- she cried and became even more anxious. I had to exit the building and leave her with my husband because I was so upset with how they were handling her. In the end, she wouldn't allow the x-rays to happen because she was already so worked up. We will definitely not be return customers to this office. Absolutely the best dentist office!???? My children's loves Dr.Chandler! He is the best!????

Dr. Chandler was great with my 3 year old son who has social/emotional delays. I was worried we wouldn't be able to get him in the chair by Dr. Chandler managed to clean and check his teeth without a problem. They also set up our next appointment while we were there so I don't have to keep track of when I should call back.

my 2 year old Grayson is autistic & has an IPad that helps keep him calm & content when we go in public places because he can have meltdowns. no greeting when he walked in the room, snatched my sons IPAD away & called it an "expensive pacifier" &7 then snatched my son out of my arms & held him down for his cleaning without even trying to make him comfortable or calm him after causing a meltdown & tells me after i explained why i was upset that he deals w/ handicaps all the time. so disrespectful

Dr. Chandler and his staff are excellent! Dr. Chandler is very patient with the kids and they look forward to getting the coin to go in the machine for a prize after there cleanings. My nineteen year old daughter still goes to him, I would recommend him to anyone.

I took my daughter here for her annual exam, she is two years old. Dr. Chandler was very friendly and offered very great advice to what to expect for her age. She had no issues and was very well taken care of. I would be going back, but I will not in the area during her next appointment window.
