Upside: appointments always easy to make Downside: multiple visits doctor mentioned how much he could “bill for something.” Have had multiple visits for diabetic feet checks. Came in for an issue regarding unusual swelling of diabetic toes. Doctor examined, ran sonogram suspecting toe breakage while patient is saying there is no breakage (on previous visit had mentioned that he could charge more if giving sonogram). Despite us being right there with a “presenting issue,” doctor would not cut long toenails on diabetic feet as “Medicare won’t pay for it until next week. Come back or private pay.” Had to make an appointment for the following week for toe clipping. Previously he recommended extreme surgical solutions for the poor health patient. I had to point out that the patient wouldn’t be able to deal with harsh recovery requirements — which didn’t seem to enter doctor’s mind. Just always had the impression the guy was in it for the money — not the patient. Too many visits confirmed that. Won’t be coming back next week for nail clipping. Dr. Cassidy charged me $950 for a simple first visit. $501 as a first-time visit and then $420 to do lab work on a toemail that he wasn't sure needed it. His office then tried to sell me their own cream rather than recommend a prescription because they said nothing in a pharmacy was effective. Really? No one has figured out simple nail care except them. I left feeling they are running a money-making machine and could not believe they would charge someone almost one thousand dollars to have a toe looked at. Beware and try someone else. I went to Dr Cassidy's practice, to be clear, I did not see Dr. Cassidy, but another doctor in the practice. Really terrible experiences here. The level of care was not good and neither was the prognosis. Not to mention their high billing rates even with insurance. The practice is charged over $200 WITH insurance and without x-rays. And to top it off, the practice is calling for more money, more than a year later. Sadness. The experience was so bad I went to another physician and practice nearby in Dripping Springs. I paid $100 for that visit and included x-rays with a much better level of care and overall experience. I highly recommend Dr. Andy Cassidy for diagnosing and treating chronic foot issues by treating foot pain through a variety of methods.Over the last two years,I have seen numerous podiatrists and orthopedists . As it has turned out, MRIs and X-rays were misinterpreted and it was Dr. Cassidy who finally reached the accurate diagnosis. He is honest , accurate, experienced, professional ,and positive . His fees and prescriptions are indeed fair and appropriate. This Doctor and his wife Rose are more interested in $$$$ than patient satisfaction. He performed surgery and then proceeded to charge co-pay for follow up visits. Buyer beware.

I want to give a huge shout out to Dr. Cassidy! I was referred to him by a friend and he was so helpful with the foot pain I was experiencing. He went above and beyond talking about the correct running shoe I should be wearing and explained in detail what custom foot orthotics are and how I would benefit conservatively with them. I would recommend this Dr. to anyone that is having foot issues. I want to give a huge shout out to Dr. Cassidy! Dr Cassidy has helped both my daughter, who was 12 at the time, and me with fractures. My daughter's fracture was diagnosed clinically by him before he even looked at an xray. But the xray and ultrasound confirmed it. I had a severe multiple fracture of my ankle. He not only nurses me back to health but was able to treat the CRPS that developed and the neuroma as well. He is very cautious and takes the age of the patient in consideration. He also won't jump to the knife. And he IS a preferred provider with Blue Shield. My 13 year old daughter walked in as a new patient with what appeared to be a corn that needed to be removes as it was hurting her. Dr. spent 5 minutes examining, scraped a little, gave her a band aid tht didn;t stick, and pronounced that it was just a blister. He spent the next 20 MINUTES lecturing her about needing to eat right, repeatedly urging her to DRINKING MILK (!), and advising that she buy a pair of ugly sneakers like what he was wearing (making fun of the shoes that she wallked in with). He mentioned his online store several times and what we should buy off of it. I will also say that he creeped me out a bit by his intimate manner with my daughter- sitting at her feet a bit too close, speaking directly to her without including me in the conversation, making juvenile jokes............... and the bill- $150!!!!!!!!!! Definitely not a good experience for our family. My 13 year old daughter walked in as a new patient with what appeared to be a corn that needed to be removes as it was hurting her. Had an appointment with Dr. Andy about some issues from a running incident. His office is in a nice location but his front desk girl (Rose) is more concerned with CASH UPFRONT than customer relations. Dr. Andy spent very little time with me and the time he did spend with me was to listen to himself talk about which running shoes I should purchase. He did NOT help me at all and I wasted a few hundred dollars in cash as BCBS will no longer consider Dr. Andy an in-network doctor. If BCBS doesn't want to use him as a provider neither should anyone else. Go see a real doctor and not some wannabe. Had an appointment with Dr. Andy about some issues from a running incident.
