I have had tooth extractions, bone grafts and implants done. Dr. Bookwalter and his staff have been amazing. They are always making sure you are doing ok and explain everything in detail. Dr. Bookwalter called me at home after my procedures and staff called me the following day. 5 gold stars +

Had two extractions in one sitting and had just about no discomfort.

My son had all 4 wisdom teeth pulled. The staff was very friendly and informative. Told him what they were going do and what to expect during and after. Took the time to make him comfortable. My son was apprehensive and choose sedation. Couldn’t ask for a better experience. Dr. Bookwalter called him the night after surgery to check on him. His staff called the next morning to see how he made it through the night. Amazing care and follow up!

Had a lower tooth extracted by Dr.Bookwalter. It was out in a jiffy without the slightest bit of pain. His staff was very professional and caring! I will be having an implant done soon and I’m confident I have chosen the right surgeon!

Eight remaining lower teeth extracted, bone grafting and gum reconstruction. No bruising, very little swelling and pain, both of which were gone the second day.

Abscess on root of wisdom tooth. Novacaine provided…tooth out…flawless. In and out of the office in 35 minutes. Staff was friendly and professional. Only drawback was waiting 5 months for an appointment…but it was well worth the wait for such a good experience.

I had my front tooth and a molar extracted by this doctor- I was put under and when I awoke the whole process was over- Dr. Bookwater was professional and very kind and reassuring! There is - however- a long waiting list to b seen but once u are there- he is the best! I would highly recommend him for any oral surgery procedure.

I took my daughter to have wisdom removed and everyone was very kind. They followed up on Friday and Monday.

Had all 4 wisdom teeth removed 3 days ago and had very little pain afterwards and no swelling at all. I am already able eat soft solid foods and other than a small amount of dull pain the next day I’ve been pain free ever since. I would recommend him to anyone and would never even consider going to another oral surgeon. He is excellent.

However, everyone in this office put you at ease. The nitrous oxide certainly helped too! Highly recommend it. He’s so so professional he tells you everything being doing as he is doing it. They even call to follow up after surgery. Can’t say enough about this office.

Dr. Bookwalter was very accessible and responsive to questions especially to me as the caregiving spouse. It’s difficult during COVID when I can’t be in the room with my husband and he forgets everything. Thorough written post-surgery instructions are immensely helpful as was automatically faxing prescriptions to our local pharmacy. Thankful for the follow-up calls, too.

Dr. Bookwalter and his staff are all professional, efficient, and kind. My son recently had his wisdom teeth out. Staff called us beforehand to give us instructions. The dr called us at home after the procedure to see how my son was doing, and his staff called twice in the week after the procedure to check on him as well. I highly recommend them!

Dr. Bookwalter called to check in the night of the surgery and his staff called the next morning to check in, showing genuine concern and wonderful patient care. A really great experience starting from before the surgery until well after.

My 9 yr old daughter tripped and busted her mouth on a curb while vacationing in Ocean City during Easter weekend. Dr Bookwalter was able to squeeze us into his schedule less than 2 hours after he accident following a referral from the ER. He was very thorough and kind, and he and his staff had my daughter’s teeth fixed up within a few hours, and stitched up her lip too. He made what could’ve been a very harrowing experience for us a pretty amazing one considering the circumstances. My daughter and the rest of our family are very thankful he was able to make time to see her!

Dr. Bookwalter was fantastic. I was extremely nervous about an extraction at my age. I was immediately put at ease by his friendliness and professional manner. I did not realize the tooth had been extracted until he told me. Lol. It took more time to read and fill out paperwork than the extraction! The technicians were equally competent and engaging. It was amazing to me to receive the follow up call the next day to see how I was doing. I am glad that my primary dentist referred him. What could have been an ordeal wasn't. I am in his debt. The anxiety of having a tooth extraction is greater then the procedure. No wait. Due to virus had to complete paperwork in car. Might suggest it be mailed out ahead of time. Pretty much painless. Professional and quick! Would recommend this doctor.

My experience with Dr. Bookwalter's practice has been really great. Surgery went well and was very quick. Lots of detailed instructions were provided and I was given ample opportunity to ask any questions before and after. They made me feel comfortable and confident in the procedure. Dr. Bookwalter called personally at the end of the day to check in, and a member of his staff called again the next morning. I don't think I've ever had a doctor be so thorough with follow up, and it was great. I would absolutely, highly recommend them to anyone needing oral surgery!

I needed a tooth extracted, and in these covid times it was difficult finding an opening. Dr. Bookwalter's office managed to work me in, even as a new patient, and it was the best thing that ever happened. The staff is friendly and professional, Dr. Bookwalter is awesome, and it was the easily the best experience I've ever had at a dental office. If there was an option for a 6th star, I would give them that!

Dr. Bookwalter is to oral surgery what Michael Jordan is to basketball. He scopes out the problem, determines the path to solving it and then hits his mark. Beyond that, he a gentleman and he is very encouraging as he works. And beyond that, he calls to check up on you after your appointment. I'm grateful!

My overall experience with this office has been incredible. The consultation was a nice open conversation where I could ask all the questions I needed. The surgery overall was also great! The nurses and doctor were very attentive and kind during the time I was awake.
