Dr. Andrew B Altman

He does a great job. Dr is down to earth, and really knows his stuff. I feel much better when he works on me - as opposed to many other providers.

He did not help my issue one bit so I went to another Chiropractor. In addition he must not have a contract with Medicare because his office has never billed Medicare although they tell me it was done. I have checked my Medicare account and called and nothing has been submitted. (Ellen)

I was in considerable amount of pain and unable to turn my neck. After a few visits the pain was nearly gone and my neck kept on improving. Dr Altman figured out why my neck was hurting so much. It took a couple of months to get that fixed but what a relief to be out of reoccurring pain. I highly recommend Dr Altman.

I was having tons of back and nerve pain going in. Along with itching skin due to nerve pain. I could hardly walk and within two to three adjustments my pain was less and my strength was returning. Thanks Doc and staff!!!

Came in with back pain could not walk a lot. He is amazing, super kind, and has a dog you can pet while you wait. Totally recommend I was a bit scared to go to a chiropractor but I completely would recommend anyone with any pain to come visit him !!

7-8-21 I am still trying to get Alicia in billing to send my insurance the correct billing information. I have called / left messages with her and Dr Altman too with no success. I can't even guess how much time I have spent on this matter. I DO NOT RECOMMEND DR ALTMAN ANY LONGER BECAUSE OF THE LACK OF INTEREST IN HANDLING THE INSURANCE ISSUES I HAVE. I was hesitant to go to a new chiropractor while I’m in town but I am happy to say that Dr Altman adjusts me without causing lots of pain. He knows what he is doing. I was in excruciating back pain and my left thigh had gone numb. I had seen three chiropractors with absolutely no results. I found Dr. Altman and I could tell from my first visit that his knowledge and expertise where going to help me. He asked me to get an x-ray of my spine and was flabbergasted to find my L2, L3 and L4 completely out of alignment and twisted causing pressure on a nerve that was cause my left leg numbness. After studying the x-ray results, Dr. Altman was able to relieve the nerve pressure and all numbness in my leg has been gone to this day. My back pain is entirely gone. I would recommend dr. Altman very highly. He does his best to get you in soon as he can and will go out of his way to help. He has been the only one to be able to get my neck to stay in. Can’t thank hi enough.

I came in with my hip hurting so bad I could barley walk on it and when he re aligned me It was like night and day immediate relief I will continue to go to Dr. Altman.

I saw dr A with pain in my back and my right leg after 3 visits he highly recommended I get a MRI , he also recommended a neurosurgeon to review the MRI, after the dr looked at the images he had me in for emergency surgery the next day. There was a cyst pressing against the main never in my back that had me in unbearable pain, unable to bend and almost couldn’t walk. The surgery took about a hour , immediately after waking up, I had NO PAiN and was able to walk . I now feel like a new person! Thank you Dr. Altman ! Dr. Altman is a very knowledgeable, in-depth and technically precise chiropractor! I was suffering with pain and an extreme headache when I walked into his office. I left knowing and feeling that I was well on my way to feeling better. I will be back! He is my new chiropractor!

I was in horrible pain, dr Altman worked on my problem a few times then highly recommended a MRI, thank god,he then recommended dr Abdulhamid a neurosurgeon. He operated on my back for a cyst that was pressing against a nerve, after the less than two hour operation I was pain free for the first time in two excruciating months of pain. If it wasn’t the care given and advice of dr Altman I would still be in unbelievable pain. Norman Sawicki

I’ve been going to Dr. Altman for 3 years now. I can say I’d highly recommend him. He is a very easy going guy and keeps a really clean office. I feel real comfortable at his office because I can talk to him about anything and bonus points he has an incredible fun loving dog their as well. Dr Altman is incredibly knowledgeable about treatment needed after car accident. I didn’t realize that the slightest wrong turn would hurt so bad. Dr. Altman is just fantastic! I had been dragging my feet about coming in because I thought it wasn't so bad. After an exam and adjustment I realized how much pain I was really in! He has improved my quality of life and did it with an awesome sense of humor! I will be recommending for sure!

Dr. Altman is easy to get a hold of and make appointments with. He doesn't mind if you text him. He explains the issue you have to help you understand how to prevent it from happening again. His office is comfortable and his dog is sweet and not pushy for pets. I'd recommend him for kids and adults.

His gentle touch and calm demeanor gives him the touch of a true master when it comes to healing. I was overwhelmed by his medical background that goes beyond his chiropractic knowledge. He is very effective when it comes to dealing with pain without using pain killers. I felt much better after his treatments. When I was under Dr Altmans care I suffered a temporary disabling medical emergency at home which I brushed off as being stress induced pain. Dr. Altman was great! My husband and I had just finished a very bouncy jeep tour in Sedona and felt like we had been run over by mac trucks several times. We hurt all over, and my husband has had back issues in the past so his back was tightening up pretty badly. Dr. Altman took us immediately. He was very thorough, did a diagnostic exam first, and then went to work on adjusting us. His sweet therapy dog, Sydney, helped us to relax by allowing us to pet her while she sat under the table during the adjustments. Since I have a hard time relaxing, she was a blessing for me. By the time Dr. Altman was finished, we both felt pretty good and that made the rest of our trip much better! I had a work related knee strain/injury 2 years ago. Treatment was ineffective, tweaked it again because it never was really fixed. Dr Altman figured out what was wrong and fixed it right- - no more pain or limited movement. Dr Altman has also been able to keep me in shape from a broken back that has healed up but acts up once in a while. Great Chiropractor! Brent Shaw

Doc has been caring for my crazy body since early 2014. I have three artificial joints (both hips and a knee) and four vertebra fused in my neck, for starters, so I'm a bit complex to treat. Before making any adjustments, he ordered 12 x-rays, as a good chiropractor would do. He is extremely knowledgeable and takes the time to do what needs doing while explaining to the patient. Dr Altman is a very good Chriopractor , he is easy to get an appointment , has good bed side manor and seems very knowledgable of the human body and how to get the right adjustment. This was a good choice for me and I recommend him for others.
