Dr. Andrea Jeanne Walter

Dr. Walter is kind, patient, attentive, engaging and asks questions. I did not feel rushed nor fake sympathy or parent child type interaction. She was straightforward and to the point, never cut me in the middle of my thoughts. I would recommend everyone to see her without any prejudice; I am not sure what guardians experienced about their ward, I had a productive session and appreciate her line of assessment and treatment approach. I would stick to Dr. Walter from here onwards.

This woman is dangerous stay away from her I don’t have a mental illness but I first wanted to diagnose me with something so I can get therapy She falsely diagnosed with social anxiety and tried to mess with the chemicals in my body with drugs when I don’t need them because there’s nothing wrong with me I walked into your office and I was terrified by her disgusting personality please don’t see her

Dr. Walter is an amazing Psychiatrist. She has helped us with our severely disabled son who is non-verbal. Since going to her he has been much calmer and happier. Her level of expertise and knowledge is exceptional. We are so grateful to her for her help. We would highly recommend Dr. Walter for your child or adolescent.

An excellent doctor that I highly recommend to anyone.

I had a very difficult time finding a doctor (MD) who specialized in teens, knew/used CBT and also acted as a therapist. CBT is recognized as one of the most effective approaches to dealing with teens who cut. Too many doctors either only did the meds or only did the therapy. Dr. Walter does both and specialized in teens. A hard combo to find. She has been great for my son, working with him to find the right combination of meds and coping skills to reduce his reliance on the meds.

What a wonderful doctor, so easy to communicate with. Insightful and caring. Thank you so much for all you have done for my daughter and our family.

Dr. Walter has been a lifesaver for my 9 year old daughter. She connected with her in the first visit and eased any reservations she had. She is a great psychiatrist and really understands children. My daughter is making significant progress so I highly recommend her. When she clicked with my daughter on that first visit I knew she was the right Dr. for us. Great psychiatrist!

Dr. Walter is a concerned and caring individual. Since she's been in private practice, I have been impressed with her more (used to see her at a terrible office!) and think she does a good job counseling patients and recommending strategies when needed.
