Dr. Andre J Laprade

I went to Dr Laprade when I was about 12-16 I think. Not only did he ignore my pleas of pain, he made the comment "your saliva is very juicy" which was creepy to tell a girl he was performing a service for. I just had an Invisalign appointment and apparently, he did a poor job of making room for my left canine tooth so now the entire left side of my upper teeth are pushed out. Head gear didn't work. I came here when I was 15. The day I came in for the moldings my step father had accompanied me , he was not going to pay attention or care about my braces, so I was texting my mother the address of the dental office and was told I was being rude and to put my phone away. He was rude many times and made me feel so uncomfortable. I didn’t want to ask any questions. He would get upset when I went ahead and began wearing my retainers at night only after the time he advised me. Laprade told me I shouldn’t have done that before getting checked first (which he didn’t explain). Not to mention he would scold me.. I felt as though I was getting in trouble. Fast forward six years and I have to pay for Invisalign because he never fixed my overbite which we discussed but clearly saw a child and a step dad who didn’t care and thought he could get away with not fixing it. Terrific! Due to inclement weather the office had closed but Dr. Laprade scheduled a special time for my son to have his braces removed so he didn't have to wait to be rescheduled! Beautiful smile! Very caring! Appointments were every 4-5 weeks and always on time!

Don't go here. His service is awful. My daughter's braces were causing her MAJOR problems, and he didn't listen to her complaints. His reaction was to smile back at her, say that everything would be fine, and then he continued to adjust her teeth as HE saw fit, even if it meant TMJ problems. After my daughter got her braces off, she couldn't even close her mouth all the way to chew food!! Her teeth did not line up in order for her to close her mouth. He then proceeded to fit her with old fashioned plastic and wire retainers, which she couldn't wear. We complained on 3 separate occasions and asked for a better retainers. He again refused. We are now under the care of another orthodontist to fix what he screwed up. (Of course for more $$$). He's a few hundred dollars less than other orthodontists, but that's how he gets his business. Save yourself the heartache and go elsewhere. In the end, you won't save any money by going to him. Don't go here. His service is awful. Excellent orthodontist...resulting in beautiful smiles.

Wonderful orthodontist and office. Very caring, knowledgeable, and great results. He actually treats each patient personally, which is a rarity these days. Treated both my children here and would highly recommend Dr Laprade..

Do not choose this Dr for your kids braces! He's a few hundred dollars cheaper than the competition, but that's how he sucks you in. He is WAY too busy. He schedules appointments every 6-8 weeks (although at the consultation, he'll tell you it's every 4-6 weeks) and CRANKS the braces too tight at every appointment to make up for lost time. This not only causes excruciating pain, but it can cause excessive trauma to both the teeth and roots of the teeth, possibly leading to tooth loss.

Dr. Laprade is exceptional and ALWAYS on time. I don't know any other doctor who is on time every time. He is professional and an excellent orthodontist who truly cares about his patients. My son's teeth look perfect now!
