I met with a previous urologist and did not leave his office feeling at ease with him operating on my son. I contacted Dr. Palagiri's office and told them my story. The nurse spoke with the doctor and they squeezed me in for a consultation. After meeting Palagiri and his team, I am so thankful I switched. They went through the pre/post surgery expectations thoroughly. I am so happy I went with my motherly instinct and switched.

Had to do surgery on my year and a half year old son which of course any parent would be nervous of and he put us to ease very quickly. Dr. Palagiri did an amazing job and the whole staff on the follow up appointment was amazing as well. He is a great down to earth guy that you feel like you have know for years. I can not say enough great things about them and I am not one who writes a ton of reviews but these folks deserve a sincere thank you for a job well done. Our son had his surgery. The process leading up to surgery was, for lack of a better term, a "cluster". The day of his surgery we were called and told the surgery was pushed back which created more anxiety for our son (we were told to be there at 2:30p and, for this routine procedure, got home right at 10p that evening). During the surgery, we were left without information for lengthy times which made us anxious. My husband is always cool as the other side of the pillow and his anxiety level was elevated. I will say that Dr. Palagiri is kind. I spoke with a nurse prior to surgery, I believe from the surgery center, who questioned a couple of rxs that our son takes. Our son has had the same prescribing doctor since he was born which begged the question as to why a nurse was questioning our family doctor. This nurse told our son to stop taking a medication 3 days prior to the surgery RED FLAG! I contacted our physician and he instructed us to not stop the particular rx abruptly. After the surgery we were sent home with 6 pain tablets, our son has been uncomfortable. Lastly, Dr. Palagiri asked when he was going to get to see me to which I responded that we were told that his office policy stipulates only one parent per patient. My husband took our son due to the type of procedure. I would not send a father to a daughter's OBGYN procedure. Odd. Our son has a follow-up procedure. tomorrow and a post-op in August. We will update this review at a later date. UPDATE: The female physician who performed a follow-up procedure on Thursday 22nd was exceptional. Quick in, procedure - no issues and out expeditiously. UPDATE: Post-Op update 9/16/21. Arrived 25 minutes prior to appt. time as per instructed. Sat in the waiting room for quite some time. A woman came into the waiting room an hour late for her appt. and was scene before our son. Finally were put into a room. Waited for Dr. Palagiri. He came in for exam. Exam was brief. Thankfully, we are done with this whole surgical procedure, etc. Took too long for what was presented to us as an out-patient procedure. Dr.P, his nurses, and all the nurses at the hospital are all amazing!

Not only did Dr palagiri belittle me for trying to take care of my son's pain he also reschedules appointments without getting authorization first!

We haven’t had surgery yet. But they are all over the place . They keep rescheduling us for surgery. I understand complications happen and God bless them.. but they are always behind which means your child is starving from not eating the whole day & night before they finally get them into surgery! I’ll update after surgery if it ever happens ! UPDATE: All of the staff was nice and friendly. The doctor did great and surgery going good. So I would recommend this hospital and the staff. I have visited Dr. Palagiri twice with my son and I am amazed at how kind and professional he is. I truly have never had a better medical experience than with him and his office.

AMAZING. I trusted him with my whole heart. We just had our little boy undergo pee pee surgery with him. It was very scary time for us but with him as the surgeon it went great. He talked us through every aspect, made sure we knew exactly what we were going to experience pre-opp, during and post-opp. His nurses were so sweet that my little guy cuddled right up to them when they took him. I felt very at ease... After post opp I was a tad nervous and had a question at 11pm...I called the exchange and he took my call personally right away to assure me what I was seeing. He also explained this was completely normal and i then tempered they had mentioned it. I felt so good after the call. I recommend him and his team! FIVE STAR EXPERIENCE. AMAZING. Brilliant, professional, and empathetic are just a few words that can be used to describe Dr. Palagiri! Having Dr. Palagiri on your treatment team is such a blessing! Two of my younger siblings have kidney challenges and Dr. Palagiri has been providing services to them from day one (more than 10 years now). I’ve witnessed him ease their fears, develop positive rapport with my family, and perform several strategic/successful surgeries. I could be two sisters down without this person and I am eternally grateful for every extra moment I have with them. My son saw Dr. Palagiri for a pre op appointment. I was nervous as I was not able to be there in person with my son. Dr. Palagiri put my son and I at ease. He explained everything thoroughly and was sensitive to personal issues/barriers to surgery. He appears to be a wonderful doctor who truly cares about his patients. My son has not had his surgery yet but I feel confident in Dr. Palagiri's skills.

Wonderful staff, Dr. P. was very caring, very informative and helpful. Also the nurses were all so excellent with my son.???? Looking forward to his upcoming procedure.

My son had the most wonderful care from this physician and staff. He got in for a consultation and surgery in a very timely manner. This doctor is amazing. I cannot brag enough!

My son was injured playing baseball and he had to have surgery. Dr. Palagiri and his staff were amazing! They explained everything very well and answered all of our questions. We were very blessed to have them treat our son.

Dr. Palagiri is the most down to earth and caring physician that I have ever met. Amazingly talented, intelligent, well spoken, caring....I could go on and on. My grandson received the best care during surgery today. I could not be happier.

Had several appointments. Waited an hour to see the doctor each time. Staff was nice but it's beyond frustrating to wait with an infant for an hour after your scheduled appointment time.

This is the most dysfunctional unorganized office team I've ever experienced which is a shame because I love mercy but I will not be giving this office another shot. The nurses were rude along with the check in woman. The doctor was behind on several patients which put my appointment more than an hour behind before I finally walked out. Not to mention this was a first patient appointment! Bad impression and certainly didn't come across trustworthy or on top of it enough to handle my infant son during surgery. Wouldn't let anyone in this office handle any of my children. I understand being backed up in visits but this was ridiculous. I let my concerns be known to the staff as well. Thumbs down! Absolutely amazing doctor and staff!! Dr. Palagiri is so kind and explains procedures and surgeries so well!

You can tell this doctor is very passionate about his work. Very lucky to have him looking after my son. He gave my wife and I a great sense of comfort.

I've not had any procedures yet, but as everyone else has said he is amazing. Great at explaining the procedures and he's a really great doctor. The staff is kind and they are all great at answering any questions or concerns you may have.

My daughter and I took my young grandson to see Dr. Palagiri two times. He was out of this world when it comes to kindness, professionalism, communication and attention. I NEVER give reviews, but this guy is just something WOW! So much so that my daughter and I begged him to also be my grandson pediatric Dr. as a whole or even become an uncle haha. There aren’t enough nice things to say about Dr. Palagiri & his office staff. Everyone is excellent!! During what can be a very stressful & scary time dealing with medical problems in an infant, I’ve never doubted that we were receiving the absolute best care out there! Dr. Palagiri always takes the time to discuss all concerns & will always leave you feeling like your child matters. Would definitely recommend him to anyone! This entire office is amazing! Seriously every single employee we worked with (and even ones we didn’t) were always so kind and loving toward our whole family. Our son was 6 months old when he had to have surgery and they made it so seamlessly easy. They kept our family updated and informed through the whole process. I would highly recommend them. Dr. Palagiri is so warm and knowledgeable. He explains everything so fully all while snuggling with our son! I just can not sing their praises enough!

There can’t be anyone better than Dr. Palagiri to trust to care for a child’s medical well being. The office staff is great and Dr. Palagiri always takes the time to discuss all concerns & will always leave you feeling like your child matters.

Absolutely amazing doctor and staff!

Great doctor for babies. Very trustworthy

My 6 month old baby boy had surgery for hypospadias. Dr. Palagiri was great. Before the surgery he walked us through everything. Even drew a picture to show exactly what he was going to be doing. He was able to answer all of our questions and make us feel a little better about the whole process. With each appointment the wait time was only a few minutes. The nurses in the office.... well.... some of them are nice and some of them are rude but that's everywhere you go. Anyway Dr. Palagiri and his team did an excellent job in the surgery room to fix our baby's hypospadias. I would definitely recommend this doctor for others. He is very friendly very professional. I met with Dr.Palagiri for my son who is 7 months old for a procedure regarding his urethra and underwent surgery. From the first visit I instantly liked him. Very nice, professional, and caring. He completely went over what the procedure would be like and everything to expect on surgery day. He even had a good sense of humor during explanation. He assured he would take great care of our child and I never doubted it. Would ABSOLUTELY recommend him. Over and over again.

I think he is overrated. We always wait at least 2 hours unti he shows up for his appointment. I mean always. Not once or twice. Every time. He might be knowlagable but he has no clear picture of what needs to be done next in order to fix my daughter health issue. Each time I walk out his office I have no idea what I need to do next. It is time to look for someone else.

Dr. Palagiri is the MAN!! We brought our son into St. John's ER on a Sunday morning and it was quickly determined that he needed emergency surgery. Dr. Palagiri arrived at the hospital quickly after called, carefully explained to us exactly what needed to be done and the possible outcomes, assembled his surgical team and went to work! The surgery was a complete success and our dealings with Dr. Palagiri post-surgery have been excellent as well. He is passionate about his work and it shows!

Four years ago today, Dr. Palagiri repaired my son's kidney. He was knowledgeable and caring. He and his staff did an amazing job and my son has not had any problems since. I would highly recommend Dr. Palagiri if you need a pediatric urologist.

Dr. Palagiri was very friendly and knowledgeable. He asked many detailed questions and listened to my concerns about my son. He even called personally to tell me the result of his test which is a rarity nowadays.
