Dr. Amy Mcgaraghan

She dumped me like I was hot..no reason given. I thought I liked her but saw another side of her. Thank goodness another Dr. picked me up. Very disappointed in Dr. McGaraghan. Went in for a procedure and sent home with instructions for said procedure. THREE days later Dr. M told me I didn't have procedure. THREE DAYS !

Fantastic doctor. She is both brilliant and incredibly kind. Listens to and addresses her patients’ concerns with comforting bedside manner. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Dr. Mcgaraghan is helpful and comforting. She saw me in an emergency setting. My primary care used to take care of what I needed but I will continue to see Dr. Mcgaraghan on an annual basis for as long as I can.

Amy treated my daughter horribly who first time visited her for her routine yearly check up. I made the appointment for my daughter and confirmed with the office it was her yearly check-up before she went to see Dr. Mcgaraghan the day before. Also, during my daughter's visit. she also shared with the doctor that it was her yearly check-up. However, Dr, Mcgaraghan run several testing which my daughter was not informed that these testing are not routine yearly check-up testing. She also filed medical claim as my daughter was sick to visit her instead of yearly check-up. Even after our insurance was trying to connect with her to correct the claim, she refused to connect with us and correct her mistake. By the end, our medical insurance had to look into my daughter medical history and worked with her clinic to resolve the issue. In the process, her attitude was horrible. Since this was my daughter's fist time to visit a doctor by herself after turning into 18, she was horribly affected by the doctor's behavior and now she refuses to go back to her lahey clinic. I felt horrible since I picked Dr, Mcgaraghan for my daughter and hoped that she would have a good independent experience seeing the doctor after turning to 18.This is also my worst experience to resolve the incorrect medical claim. Dr. McGaraghan is the very best Gynecologist on the North Shore! Having left Lahey Clinic years ago, she remains the only doctor I continue to see at Lahey. In my opinion, she is a first class doctor. She is kind, compassionate, never rushes you, and is extremely knowledgeable. I took my 91 year old mother to see her last week. My mom said she and her assistant, Fran (a sweetheart), are the very best team she's seen in her 91 yrs. of life, and she's seen many!!! Thank you, Thank you!!!
