Amy Carol Ice

I work as a Peer Specialist and have the "joy" of seeing Dr. Ice for my own treatment. When discussing symptoms that were obviously causing me distress she was very dismissive of how I was experiencing it. Also during each visit she directed what the conversation was about, instead of allowing me to take control of my care and recovery. She was very quick to place me in a box and continuously telling me how I was handling things before I could even describe what was going on. She just refused to listen to my personal concerns, and when I told her medication after 2 months is having no affect and starting to make me lose interest in things and I started to become a shell of myself, instead of looking at other options she increased my dosage, even after I suggested another medication. This has been by far one of the worse doctors I have ever seen for my mental health concerns. It is even sadder when I work within the same facility with the same patients and still she talks down to me.

Arrogant and doesn't know what she's doing. Worst psychiatrist ever had! Not professional and terrible at prescribing medications for anxiety especially panic attacks! I think she's cruel and uncaring. Better at causing anxiety than relieving it. Scarey and untrustworthy. You will leave each visit feeling worse. Stuck up and uncaring. Go elsewhere.

Talks to hear herself talk. Does not put the patient's best interest above her inflated ego. I'm not a psychiatrist and even I know she's going about it all wrong. Unprofessional and even offensive. Do not give her your time or money.
