Dr. Amir Abbas Pouradib

This is the worst office that ever existed since Dr Pouradib is no longer a primary physician. The staff is very rude and nasty when it comes to taking care of their patients. They have some nerve when it comes to helping those in pain. Dr Pouradib is an amazing doctor but only does injections now so anything in office besides injections, beware of all the other doctors and staff. They will treat u with the same disrespect and irrational behavior they treated my mother with. DONT GO HERE

Amazing staff and FANTASTIC physician.

I love Dr Ps office the girls are great and he’s been taking care of me for a long time dealing with my RA. Couldn’t recommend a better pain specialist. Karen

The most disorganized office I have ever dealt with. Dr. Pouradib's staff have been trained to care about insurance and how to get paid rather than listening to the patients. I did not even get the chance to see the Doctor. You should consider other options. I wish you all well.

Dr. Pouradib is a trouble shooter and a compassionate doctor. He lends an empathetic ear while maintaining a sense of humor. I found Dr. Pouradib in 2016 prior to brain surgery and he stood with me as we went through the 2 year journey of figuring out what was going on. I 'graduated' and no longer needed pain management and a few years later found myself in another health crisis and turned to him again. I highly recommend him if you are needing help with pain management. I wish I could find a primary care as wonderful as he is.

The worst staff and office management. This is the second time my insurance referred me to this office and it is a mistake. It’s been a month and a half and I still could not contact the doctor. After several cancellations and reschedule I was supposed to talk to doctor virtually at 3:30 pm but I didn’t receive a call and when I called the office and kept on line for 15 minutes!!!!!! I was told that the doctor is on call with the last patient and can not talk to me and they have to reschedule again.....,,.,,. How would you feel if you were me... Dr. P is amazing. Kind and sweet and up-to-date on the latest info. Maybe most importantly, he actually listens! He sees me on-time & even with 100s of patients (at least) he still knows what's goin on with my trainwreck of a body???? Go see him. He will work with you to make your pain-filled life better ????

I went there today to get a injection for my neck pain and had a great experience! The doctor Amir, front desk, and nurse were kind, friendly, knowledgeable and more.. Hopefully my results will be great as them!

Dr P has been My Guy for years & my only concern is that he will retire! I know he has 100s if patients (at Least) but even without my chart in front of him he knows What's What. He never discounts my knowledge of what's goin on with my body & my ever-fluctuating pain. My Best Quality of Life & Safe Pain meds are his priority. He LISTENS. Those of us in constant pain know what a blessing it is to find a Dr who doesn't discount our own assessments. His staff is kind & on-the-ball, even when it feels like pharmacies/insurance/etc. are conspiring against us. Do not dally...go see him and let him help you on your journey to a more measured, "normal" life. Cheers...Stacee

Dr. Pouradib needs to do something about their front desk staff ! They usually don’t answer or put you on hold for long time to tell you doctor doesn’t have time to see you today. They don’t need to think about it for ten minutes putting you on hold to tell you this. Parking sucks

Dr. Pouradib is excellent. No one better for pain management. Love him and recommend him very highly. But overall, the staff needs lots of improvement. Most are focused on getting you through the door and getting payment. Not kind and most lack any empathy or care for people in pain. They are very business focused. Not practice focused. Intense knowledge of pain management, he has taken care of me for almost 10 yrs. I have bulging discs in my neck and R.A. and he has been successfully treating them without the need for surgery. I have seen 11 different doctors from all over the country trying to diagnose and treat my pain and Dr Pouradib was the only one to do it successfully. I've been seeing Dr. Pouradib for many years. The office staff has changed many times and hasn't always been the most competent. However, Dr. P is worth it!

I'm an ICU RN with complicated pain issues for many years. I've seen most of the pain doctors in Orange County but none as skilled, kind, compassionate and honest as Dr. Pouradib. He's got an incredible bedside manner that will leave you feeling better than when you walked in. If someone's going to stick a needle in my spine, I want it to be Dr. P. In the current healthcare climate, pain managment is a challenge. Despite those challenges, he uses his wealth of knowledge and skills to control my pain and give me back a quality of life I never thought possible. I doubt you'll find a better practicioner in southern California. I highly recommend Dr. Pouradib for all your pain care needs. He's honest, caring, down to earth, a skilled practicioner and a beautiful human being. He's truly a life saver!

Would never discuss changing medications and was angry at Me because after my surgery they didn't contact him!! I assumed they did as his name was on my chart!!! I switched to another pain specialist because of these things And MORE!

I had seen this doctor before for pain management and liked him, one week ago I contacted his office to make an appointment for an extreme back pain , they didn’t have any immediate opening that’s after the person on the phone asked my DOB and found me in the system, I called back gave her my new insurance and asked her why is she checking my information if there isn’t any opening and she said that’s the protocol, !!!!! Based on my new information she gave ma an appointment for following Thursday ...in a little bit she called and said doctor can not see you then since he won’t be in the office!!!!! His first opening would be today the Monday at 12:00 noon !!!!!! That seemed odd to me but I took it since she said that’s the only opening , I got a ride and got there at 12:00 they said my appointment is at 1:15 , In a bit in front of other patient she said We can’t even see you beacause of your Insurane person in pain cannot sit and wait and wanted to complain about all that had happened, first nobody cared then I said I’m a personal friend of referring physician and will demand him to find out what’s going on here? Then they called the doctor to come and take me to the back!!!! And that’s where the disgusting part started , He stated yelling at me that there are not a lack of patients and all doctors are so busy they are turning around patients and do what that there is discrepancy in time ?!!!! He said that there is NO more customer service and it is what it is!!!! I want to know as a physician for pain management what happened to your oat???? What happened to humanity?!! Dr. Pouradib is the best doctor ever. He’s compassionate, caring and very competent. I have been his patient for 12 years and thank God for his exemplary care.

I have been an athlete all my life have a 30° curve in my spine from scoliosis and disc degenerative disease. I am a competitive equestrian ad well. Having tried everything short of hard core drugs, Dr. P gave me much needed relief. He's a wonderful doctor with a great personality. Recommended him to many of my equestrian friends.

Dr. Pouradib is a true blessing. Professional, genuinely caring and adds much needed levity and humor in very difficult and painful situations. He has brought immense relief to my pain and I highly recommend!

Very unfortunate to have a pain doctor add to your pain! Forget about his rude and incompetent office staff ! His reason for it was disgusting and against the oat and humanity . I had seen him before and this time in pain I made another appointment after his office changed my appointment a few times once I got there first of all she said your appointment is not at 12:00 but 1:00 and a bit after she said we can’t even see you cuz of your insurance ! I had giving them my new one #10 on the phone

Horrible office scheduler. This Dr. was recommended for injection by my surgeon at Cedar Sinai . I left several messages for new patient scheduler. Never heard back from her. I called the front office after a few days and was informed the scheduler is sitting next to her and she will call me right away. Never heard from her. At this point I chose another Dr. for my procedure. I will inform my surgeon about this strange experience and Dr. Pouradib needs to know what happens in his office.

I have been seeing Dr. Amir Pouradib for over 10 years. I got him by chance when I was admitted to Saddleback Hosp. for an unresolved migraine. Under his care, my migraine resolved he became my doctor, there is no one better, kinder, more caring or truly concerned about relieving your pain. I have had steroid & facet injections and a multitude of procedures & medications. Dr. Pouradib is always professional, knowledgeable, helpful & so kind. There isn't enough space to say how wonderful he is.

I was introduced to Dr. Pouradib in 2008 and if it wasn't for him i would be paralyzed from neck down!! He saved my life!!! he really cares and very knowledgable, i have referred many people and every single of them is happy with Dr. P. he is a miracle.

I met Dr. Pouradib through my dear friend whom has been seeing him for a couple years. Before Dr. Pouradib she had horrible unmanageable chronic pain for so many years, frequent stays in the hospital as a result.. until Dr. Pouradib worked his magic with her. I've taken her to appointments & joined for his caring consulting sessions with her. He is just wonderful & amazing with his level of care!! Last year I watched his brilliant diagnostic talent literally save her life! Thank you Dr. Pouradib

I have had spine issues for 23 years. He is by FAR the best doc I've seen! Injections are not easy as I had a fusion done 3 years and have scar tissue and metal in my back so his job is hard but i trust him completely! His bedside manner is 200% He's hilarious to say the least. I could go in crying in pain and he will have me laughing in minutes. Sometimes I have my kids with me, unlike most doctors he doesn't mind and engages with them. Cannot say enough good things about him!

Made an appointment to go see the Dr. They didn't say anything about there address changed I went there couldn't find them called they said there address has changed went to the new address was little late they said they can't see me cuz I missed my appointment. They give me the new app for 2 weeks later !! Got the address here from google search . I couldn't be more unhappy with his billing practices. the fact that i received services in Oct 2014 and just received my first bill in August,2015 is disgusting. I have an FSA plan the reimburses, and now I can't even file with that as it had to be submitted by the end of March. When I challenged the billing dept....and it took me two days to get thru...I was told that a bill was sent in March...which I never received, and I am never ever one to overlook bills. just doesn't happen. Furthermore, the dr's VM was FULL for TWO DAYS. Really??? so as a patient, I get hosed for 700 bucks, as he won't help and neither will the billing dept . sign me OUT as never going there again and will tell the primary dr. who referred me. I have seen Dr. Pouradib since moving out to Aliso Viejo in 2007..sadly, I have had many problems that have led to pain that needs to be managed daily. Dr. Pouradib is one of the most knowledgeable doctors in his field, but also, the most caring! I trust him completely and never leave his office feeling that I haven't been given the best care possible.

I've been getting injections, both cervical and lumbar from Dr. Pouradib for six years now. Because of a large amount of scar tissue he had to get the needle within a few millimeters of my spinal cord but I trust him completely from experience and the fact he has done thousands of these injections. He's also given me trigger point shots which is a huge help for muscle spasm pain. Very friendly and easy to talk to. My daughter also sees the doctor for back pain and she too thinks he's great.

Dr Pouradib is very caring and I have nothing but good things to say and would recommend him to anyone I know
