This Doctor is an amazingly talented orthopedic surgeon. I don't believe I would be walking today if not for him. He is also very thoughtful, kind, and caring.

In early February 2019, After a terrible car accident, I underwent multiple surgeries at Regional hospital in San Jose.. I AM PROUD to say that Dr. Matityahu was the performing surgeon. Dr. Matityahu, his UCSF-affiliated team, and nurses at San Jose Regional Medical Center saved my father’s leg and life. My father’s employees who depend on him, my mother, entire family, tens of his friends, and myself are so grateful for him and his advanced education. (Side note, if you search on YouTube, you will find Dr. Matityahu was part of a team who pioneered bone restoring technique.) My father had been driving for 30 years with no incident until one single unlucky day. Everyone was shocked to hear that small lower leg bones smashed into pieces and bone even poked through his skin. Another doctor said his leg may never be the same again, and we anxiously hoped the surgery would be successful. When the day of the surgery came, Dr. Matityahu walked in and the air in the room changed. You could tell he was a confident and consummate professional. Minutes after the surgery, Dr. Matityahu called my personal line himself and said it went great. The surgery restored some hope for me and my father’s prognosis. Dr Matityahu did a wonderful hip fracture surgery for my 88 yr old father. He was very courteous & caring, checking on my father twice many hours after the surgery at San Jose Regional Medical before leaving the hospital. Now, a month after, my father is healed completely. I highly recommend Dr. Matityahu.

Dr amir matityahu is a surgeon. he is differient from us. get rid of your ego.he is there to repair injuries .I am a 58 yo Marine with combat experience and traumatic injury. I broke my leg in 2010. he wasted no time getting me to surgery. try getting up at 6am going to work where you do life saving surgery all day. this bedside manner stuff. so.so. working class people like me,know Dr. matityahu is an extermely hard working man. he deserves every privelige on this planet. I think I might know one thing he dosen't he's an Angel

Not sure what these other comments are about. I say him with a complicated problem that my original doctor could not take care of. He sat with me for 45 minutes and talked about how to take care of it.

I had two bilateral pelvic fractures. One bolt through it and I can walk. I have no pain now, and he was a great doctor.
