He saved my life

I have a rare condition. Dr. Heydari knew what it was and was able to treat me. I will never be healed but it is comforting to know that he will be there to answer any questions.

He is the best. My husband was in the hospital for 56 days in 2015 and he had the best bed side manned and we can just not say enough good things about him. He literally saved my husbands life!

I had the sleeve surgery May 28th 2020 by Dr. Heydari. The surgery went very well I had no pain. Dr. Heydari followed up with me and let me know how well the surgery went. I can't say more about how wonderful this experience was and I'm so happy that I finally decided to do this. Dr. Heydari really made this experience a pleasure.

Dr H is the most amazing caring physician who has changed my life in so many ways I can't thank him enough ! His epic staff helps in anyway the can before and after for a for a life time !! 5stars is not enough!!

Dr Heydari is a phenomenal Dr. He listens to your input and both patient and Dr come to a mutual decision. He is extremely compassionate and I would recommend him to family members and friends. lBarb Skow On a scale of 1-5, I rate Dr. Heydari a 10! He is one of the nicest, friendly, compassionate doctors that I have ever met. He will be doing my gastric sleeve surgery on 11/27/18 because my lapband failed to do what I needed it to do (due to my own bad habits). There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that I am in the hands of the BEST surgeon ever and I have no fear whatsoever of undergoing this procedure with him at the helm. Through the past 6 months I have met many of Dr. Heydari's staff from his Bariatric Center and Huntley Hospital; the feedback on him is phenomenal. Everyone loves this guy and speaks very highly of him. His personality draws you in and his confidence eases your nerves, to say the least. He even allows his patients to contact him after hours on his personal cell. I don't know of any other doctors who have his level of compassion and his wonderful bedside manner. Dr Heydari is amazing. He has saved my life and I can't say enough about his bedside manner. I live in Austin TX and he always makes time for me when I come back to IL if I have something going on. He is truly the best Dr I have ever had.

Awesome surgeon! I had the gastric sleeve surgery in March of this year (2017) and everything has been terrific. He's very detailed on every and anything that will benefit you, as well as going the extra mile for your safety and life during the procedure. If you only read one review; this one might save you from a life threatening experience. I had the Orbera balloon placed and after 7 long days and nights of vomiting and an inability to eat or drink anything, had emergency surgery to have the device removed. It had inflated to fill and block my entire stomach. Dr Heydari and staff did not listen to my pre surgical emergency concerns. He saw me one day prior to my removal and stated to me that I never mentioned any distress. Please consider.....

It is incredible being given the wealth of knowledge prior to surgery was priceless. I knew what to expect, so in turn there were no concerns or anxious moments because everything had been explained so throughly you knew what to expect. He is also has sn incredible bedside manner. You never feel as if your questions are taking to much of his time. The follow up was impressive. The day if surgery he checked on me three times. His staff is amazing.

The most intelligent, caring, kind, medically knowledgeable Surgeon out their in his field. When the surgery is done you aren't forgotten he follows up with you for as long as you need him too. For that I am grateful. He cares and respects you as a whole person. He encourages you. I am 12 years out on my surgery & have gained zero back. He was a gift. I would not be here today if it weren't for his surgery.

Dr. Heydari was calm and professional from the moment I met him. He diagnosed and recommended my procedure well, explained things in a calm and professional manner despite my wife and my own anxieties and fears. The surgery went perfectly and I was back on my feet in a matter of days then back to work in a few days more. I highly respect and appreciate the skill and professionalism of Dr. Heydari.

Dr. Heydari was awesome! Unfortunately, I can not say the same for his office members. I was told by them I was approved by my insurance for surgery and, therefore, proceeded to make all necessary appointments and arrangements. However, after weeks of preparation, I received a letter from my insurance company stating I was denied. Once the office appealed, they wasted another week because they neglected to send in the appropriate paper work. The people in the office were extremely incompetent!

My esophageal cancer surgery with Heydari at Centegra - McHenry was a disaster and ended up at Loyola for rectifying surgery, Was 7 months in hospital bed. Would not recommend for this type of surgery.
