Dr. Amir H Fayyazi

Dr Fayyazi did surgery on my neck 8 years ago. He was very kind and considerate. I had no pain after my surgery. Now I another disk in my neck that is bad and I have a lot of pain. Lehigh Valley wants me to go back to him but he is an hour drive away. I can only hope he would come to the Allentown area to see me again.

Only had 2 visits with this man. The first one me and my wife both left with our jaws dropped. First off my wife had him for her neck fusion 10 years ago when I uad some of the greatest insurance you could have at that time. My wife was there for her neck and right away he thought she was there for her spine. Doesn't even apparently check his own appointments. Anyway she said no im here for my neck oh he said he then pulled up her MRI and immediately said you need neck fusion and the way he sdaid it was if you get hit from behind you could be paralyzed. Again we were kund of shocked what do you do with that advice. I said sounds like you have no choice. Bringing me back to my visit just yesterday my 2nd only visit the first he said and it's in my chart with my MRI the report is like pages long. He told us how concerned he was about my neck and if I need surgery it will be a lot more severe than my wife s . He also said I needed to have follow up appointments every 2 months for a year. Well yesterday my second follow up i mentioned I had insurance coverage until April. With that news his whole attitude and diagnosis changed. He said to live my life asking how old i was and said he has pain to. Come back in a year. I guess that means when i have insurance in other words. I have insurance now my MRI looks and is horrendous with pages of the many things very wtong with my neck one being scoliosis I choke when eating s certain foods. Compression on many discs the list goes on etc. You will have to juge for yourself.

There are many qualified orthopedic surgeons out there. Amir is NOT one of them. I refuse to give him the respect of referring to him as doctor because he does not deserve it. He took the Hippocratic oath to do no harm. He has not lived up to that oath! He does not care about the patient and trying to help them get better. All he’s concerned about is the money he gets from insurance companies. He treats you like you’re beneath him and doesn’t listen when you try to explain what is wrong. He thinks he’s God (I can assure you he is not) and literally tells you that other doctors don’t know what he knows. Thank God for that because he doesn’t know much about medicine! What he does know well is how to make as much money as he can from insurance companies to line his own pockets with no regard for the patient who is suffering. Thank God there are other good men and women who are true doctors and true medical professionals who do care about the health and well-being of their patients because this man doesn’t. Seek these other doctors out! Do NOT let this man touch you. He should be ashamed of himself but conmen never are. He should have his medical license reviewed and revoked. Very good surgeon.

RUN! If you are having any kind of orthopedic issues, especially relating to your spine and chronic pain, do NOT go to this man. He’s arrogant. He’s rude. He doesn’t listen to you. He literally yells at you when you ask a question. He makes you feel like you’re worthless. On top of that, he’s a terrible doctor. Everyone makes mistakes but this man will NEVER admit when he is wrong. And he is wrong often! Please! Do not make the same mistake I made and go to another doctor. There are many good doctors who actually care about you. This man is not one of them. He only cares about the money he makes from the insurance. He should not have a medical license.

This. Dr is the worst. He is rude and disrespectful. Yelled at me during the visit. He spent 30 minutes yelling and 5 mins doing a physical evaluation. I was interrogated through out the time I was there. Awful Sr. Terrible experience. I never had a Doctor treat me that way.

This Dr was very rude. Dr's should be personable, great listeners, and empathetic to the concerns of the patients. They should not be condescending or arrogant. They should treat others as they want to be treated.” Well not this Dr. he yelled at me several times during my visit. He told me he was confused about my treatment. Continued to ask the same questions over and over expecting to get a different answer. He asked me things that I could not answer and because I did not have the answers, he became ruder and more disrespectful. Asking me questions about medical things as he had my medical a file in front of him with all of my medical information During the exam, he made me stand when I was in pain. He also poked me in my shoulders several times. How dare he poke me!!! I went home and cried. No doctor has ever made me feel the way he did. I will be submitting a complaint to the medical board.

This doctor has one of the worst reputations in the area. LOOK AT HIS REVIEWS! He insults other doctors and has no problem doing the same to his patients.

Dr fayyazi is an excellent dr who has helped me through some ruff times with my back an disc replacement..I have sent many of my friends to him an they thank me an highly recommended going to see him if you need a good ortho dr...

A professional, shows concern for my problem.

Don't anyone see this doctor! He is very argumentative. He accused me of changing my symptoms and when I asked questions he could not clearly answer, he became defensive. He never touched me but claimed my shoulder and arm pain is not nerve related, but he had no other explanation. He said he could refer me to a shoulder specialist but they wouldn't be able to tell me anything more. He said the physical therapist doesn't need to know what is causing my pain in order to work with me. After 12 PT sessions without relief, he speculated anxiety or angina. So I went back to my GP where an anxiety test and EKG were negative but an EMG showed carpal tunnel and neck issues. My GP referred me to a Physical Medicine specialist in a different physician group. He was certain my pain was from a pinched nerve. An MRI confirmed a large bulging disc pinching a nerve where it exits my spine. Thank goodness I went back to my GP or I would still be getting therapy for pain without a cause.

Always listens to the concerns you have. Have been a patient since 2015 and have had surgery so I see him often. I love his entire staff.

Dr Fayyazi explains symptoms very well. Also knows what physical therapy will assist you in improving the quality of life if no choosing surgery.

A very arrogant, condescending man. NO bedside manner at all. I left there crying my eyes out.

Dr Fayyazi is wonderful doctor. It is very pleasant to visit him and his Pa at OAA office

My visit with Dr. Fayyazi was a very good visit. I have had back pain for many years, and Dr. Fayyazi did a: L3,4 & 5 Compression/Lumbar Spine Fusion, January 14, 2011, and I am very happy to report, I never felt so good, after so many years. He is a wonderful doctor, king, knowledgeable, answers any questions, polite, etc., and I would recommend him to anyone, if they needed a Back Surgery!

I had 2 surgery's with Dr. Fayyazi and was very pleased. Explains everything and is very patient. Continues to follow up with me. Would recommend him to anyone with spine problems. His staff is wonderful and very helpful

Saw Dr. Fayyazi for an accident I had where I was T-Boned by a Ford F-350 pickup that hit my Ford F-250 in the driver side behind my cab.... Explained what was wrong so I understood and answered all my questions... I would recommend him to anyone with C-spine injuries....

I am seeing Dr. Amir Fayyazi for quite some years now and I am very happy to say that he did a lot of great things for me! I do have achondroplasia and because of that I do see Dr. Fayyazi pretty frequently. From the very first time until now I do only have positive experiences with him. He performed surgery on me now 3 times and specially that last surgery did me very good! He is someone who listens very well to you and your problems and even more importantly, takes the time for that. I never and ever feel like I am rushed out of the office and from experience I can say that not only Dr.Fayyazi but also his whole team is wonderful to deal with. For everyone who is looking for a great spine surgeon or if you feel like you need a 2nd opinion I strongly recommend him. I do hope that with this review I am able to guide you in the right way!

Dr. Fayyazi is AMAZING! I was extremely hesitant to have a spinal fusion because years before I had a knee replacement that did not have the best outcome. Dr. Fayyazi and his PA Sarah put all my fears to rest. They answered all my questions respectfully and honestly and then we proceeded with the surgery! The outcome was a complete success!! From beginning to end I was never let down! I feel great!! Words cannot express the respect and gratitude I have for Dr. Fayyazi and his staff!!

Staff is wonderful and caring. We have a great Dr./Patient relationship. He understands and cares what is needed to return my quality of life back to normal.

Spoke to my husband instead of me . I am the patient. No help after one hour waiting with results :I should have come to him years ago . Not knowing or caring about my history. Took awhile to find him and long wait time to finally see him to no avail. ??

I would most certainly recommend Dr Fayyazi! I went to Dr Fayyazi at OAA when I was experiencing leg and back pain which was hampering my walking and sleep. The Dr and his PA, Sara recommended that I have PT water treatment, then a epidural shot, both of which did not cure my pain. He operated on my spine and thanks to him I am walking without pain. He is an excellent doctor and I would seek him out again if I have a medical issue that would need him attention.

Dr. Fayyazi shows he cares about your well being and takes the time to listen.

Great experience. Easy to obtain appointment, all support staff friendly -I felt well taken care of. Dr. fayyazi listened to my concerns and was professional and courteous.

The man knows what he’s doing! Dr. Fayyazi was recommended by a doctor in the same practice for a pinched nerve I had. He did an excellent job with the ACDF my first surgery. After another pinched nerve some years later I sought him out at another practice, because I trusted him completely. This surgery went very well too. I’ve already recommended him to a friend of mine. Why take chances with someone else when I know Dr. Fayyazi will do it right the first time!

All of us have probably been to a lot of doctors over the years, but in my opinion Dr. Fayyazi is on top of the list. He leaves no stone unturned. He is personable and up front on what needs to be done. He has a sense of urgency that make the patient feel that they are in good hands and are going to get the treatment they need ASAP. He explains what needs to be done. He is very patient and answers all your questions, no matter how long it takes. I would highly recommend Dr Fayyazi to anyone

Dr. Fayyazi is an excellent doctor. Along with being a very confident and extremely capable doctor, he is very personable and kind person. He also has a fantastic staff. I would definitely recommend him to any of my family and friends, should they have the need for specialty.

Never!! No way! He gets very aggressive personality, plays some dumb trick for what reason, i dont know. Aks pain 1-10, if u answer 10, he calls u a liar. Guess he should pick the # because if u say 9, I'm positive he" ll say same thing. Told me groin pain isn't a back pain related symptom, talked to another back dr & he said " oh yes it can be" who do u believe? NOT this guy. He gets nasty, doesn't listen when u talk, he dismisses you. Definitely never consider this dr

For 3 years I walked around with severe neck pain. Seriously, I had to flex my shoulders and neck to get relief. 2 years ago, Dr. Fayyazi operated on me, I received a fusion in my neck. I have absolutely "Zero" pain in my neck. I am very grateful for this talented surgeon. Thank you Dr. Fayyazi

I am a 5+year patient of Dr.Fayyazi. I have had two surgeries performed both with outstanding outcomes! Would highly recommend anyone who has back issues to see him!

Kind, honest, and professional doctor who is timely, listens, and doesn't rush any aspect of your medical care. He performed my surgery for 2 herniated discs and I couldn't be happier with the treatment and results.

I first met with Dr. Fayyazi last August 4th, 2016. I had sever lower back pain and sciatic nerve pain shooting down my left leg. Dr. Fayyazi was very up front with me and after looking at my x-rays he assured me that he would make me better. After all the hoopla with the insurance company going through their process with PT I finally got my surgery in October. I had total confidence in Dr. Fayyazi. He explained everything on what to expect post op (didn't leave me any questions to ask).

Went there for 2nd opinion on workers comp case & this doctor could not have been more rude to me. Wow, he didn't believe any of my documented symptons & was practically calling me a liar. I advise anybody here go to coordinated health they will treat you like a person. This place outright sucks

I had neck fusion performed by Dr Fayyazi it never felt right. I went back to Dr Fayyazi numerous times they would do an xray and he said it was fine. I had gotten a second opinion they did an mri and a catscan turns out my one disc never fused correctly. I am not happy at all with Dr Fayyazi.
