If you don’t mind setting in a room waiting for an hour or more this is the place for you.

I have had 3 allergists in the Austin area & had to change locations because of moving. At every one they have had 1/2 day on Saturday & an evening available for people who work. Apparently you have no patients who work. Today, Friday, I came in at exactly 3:05 & was told I was too late, you close at 3:00. I showed her your outdoor blue sign that said you closed at 3:30 & she said that does not show our Covid hours. What does this have to do with Covid??? & if you are changing your hours let patients know & change your sign outdoor. One time when you were taking appointments I was 5 minutes late for my shot & instead of telling me I may have to wait a little, & they would fit me in I was informed I was late & would have to reschedule.

I took my son in to get a consultation about getting a food allergy test. I met with Dr. Mery for maybe three minutes and the consult I was given was that they could do a test. I figured that from the beginning, but maybe that is their process, so I paid the $155 appointment fee. I was asked to go ahead and schedule the follow up appointment which I did, and was then given the cost information that they verified with my insurance. After reviewing at home, I decided that a $550 allergy test at this time wasn't necessary given his symptoms do not bother him at all. I called to cancel the appointment on Monday, for the Friday appointment. They canceled and explained that there was a $40 cancellation fee. Absolutely not. I needed time to review, I called you five days in advance and you still want to charge because that is Dr. Mery's new policy? I'm not one to publicly shame, but I have never felt a more money grab than being associated in anyway to this doctor and his practice.

The staff is very well dispositions and extremely knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions asked of them. They are also exceedingly helpful resolving issues.

Our family has grown up in Austin and we all have allergies. Dr Mery's office is the best. But beyond allergies we have such a relationship with him that he has become our family practitioner as well. My kids could not imagine having to go to another doctor and value his presence in our community. I'm not writing this review hastily. I had a terrible experience with Hill Country Allergy about 3 years ago. I wouldn't recommend it. I was wrongly billed for services I couldn't receive due to my pregnancy. The staff was highly unprofessional and treated my questions with little regard. I have also heard many of my Lakeway clients voicing similar problems from Hill Country Allergy. Stay clear!

I met Dr. Mery and gave him my concerns. He not only gave me information on a treatment plan but even directed me to call his practice manage on dealing with my questions on my deductible plan which is outrageous. After getting all issues settled, I know I am in good hands with my therapy and financial plan given to me by a most caring manager. Thanks

Dr Mery is very knowledgeable and professional. He has helped me with my allergies through shot therapy. His office is very welcoming and relaxing. He provides you with wifi, snacks, water, tvs, and massage chairs as you wait. My young kids love the kid area. Which makes visiting for shots easy and enjoyable!

Dr. Mery has helped my child with his issues of allergies. Through the allergy shot therapy, my son can now handle the cedar and ragweed seasons. As a parent I was impressed with how Dr. Mery takes the time to answer my concerns. I would proudly recommend anyone I know to visit Hill Country Allergy.

Very thorough and knowledgeable. My old allergist had me on a single shot. Dr Mery has me on 3 separate shots since the active ingredients can't be combined effectively.

Dr Mery is obviously in this business for the money. He is a fat, arrogant man who wears cowboy boots with heels to appear taller. He is an allergist but acts like he is important. He charges ridiculously high amounts of money for a poor assessment and then every kind of testing whether it is needed or not. If you question it, he makes you feel stupid. I heard the place is owned by some guy named Tony who takes people's money and runs. It is a creepy place and doesn't feel professional or even medical. Patient beware.
