Dr. Ameen Habash

Dr. Habash walked me through reconstructive surgery in a very thoughtful and thorough manner. He spends an incredible amount of time during each visit focusing on questions, concerns, and risks more so than any other physician during my cancer treatment. He was also very inclusive with my husband which was very meaningful. With cancer, he is my lifelong doctor - and so happy that is the case!

Dr. Habash is that rare doctor who has an incredible empathetic manner. He is kind and attentive. He does not rush the visits. He took time to explain the procedure thoroughly and also paid a lot of attention to what I wanted from surgery. He encouraged me to have reasonable expectations and had a good understanding of the emotional complications I was facing. He does not promise what he can't deliver and he delivered on everything he did assure me of. I felt very safe knowing he was going to do the necessary work after my cancer surgery. He is part of the reason I've had good results after a difficult and unexpected diagnosis! I would send my family and best friends to him in a heartbeat! Highly recommend.

Dr. Ameen Habash is a phenomenal surgeon and an amazing person! After being diagnosed with breast cancer and having a double mastectomy, Dr. Habash performed my DIEP Flap Reconstruction surgery. Throughout the process, he was extremely professional and patient, taking the time to answer all of my questions thoroughly. He cared as much about my mental and emotional well-being as my physical well-being. I am extremely pleased with the final outcome of my surgery and super grateful that Dr. Habash was my surgeon! In August of 2017 I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. My world was turned upside down as I tried to understand the decisions that needed to be made regarding treatment and reconstruction. I was referred to Dr. Habash by my breast surgeon. I elected to have Dr. Habash place breast expanders and perform my implant exchange surgery due to my double mastectomy. He also removed my chemo port during the implant exchange surgery. On the first visit I knew he was a match for me. Dr. Habash was compassionate and understanding to my fragile emotional state. He explained all my options in detail and has never pressured me to decide right away. Dr. Habash displays a commitment to my well being and has made a positive impact on my emotional recovery. I have great respect for his work ethic and I’m thankful he is on this journey with me.

Dr Habash has been a member of my cancer treatment team since early in the process and could not have been more positive, attentive, educational and supportive. He took time during each appointment (pre op. and post op.) to explain in detail where we were in the process, set realistic expectation and explained what was to come next. During each of these appointments, he not only took care of my physical (medical) needs, he also acknowledged and discussed the emotional turmoil associated with cancer and mastectomy. My husband and I left his office after each visit feeling more positive and better prepared to handle the next step. Everyone knows... If you want a great doctor, you ask a nurse. I'm a nurse & I can tell you that Dr. Habash is exceptional. He's attentive, thorough, professional, so very compassionate. There really isn't any wait time. I am taken to a room right when I walk in the door and Dr. Habash comes in a minute or less. He explains everything clearly and he does not pressure you into a decision. He is very calming and puts you at easy. He is all about the patient; even my family has commented on his attention to his patients.

Doctor Habash helped me see the light at the end of the tunnel during a very difficult time in my life, I was diagnosed with breast cancer and had to make the decision to do a breast mastectomy and breast reconstruction. With his excellent knowledge, listening skills and patience, he made me and my family feel more at ease.We never felt rushed, never felt that there un answered questions. The nightmare of my illness slowly became a dream of recovery, all thanks to this wonderful doctor.

Dr Habash has preformed lipo on me in the past and I was ready to do it again and do a breast augmentation. Dr Habash moved to Texas. I glad booked a flight and hotel to go see him. He is very professional and made me feel completely comfortable! I was so thrilled with my results the first time, I knew I wouldn't be disappointed. I am only a few weeks out but can already tell he did an amazing job. It's just what I asked for! I will always follow Dr Habash! I already have the best surgeon!

Dr. Habash handled the reconstruction aspect of my mastectomy. He has been very thorough in explaining options and answering my questions. He shows a great deal of compassion and has his patients' best interest at heart.
