I had to meet a lot of dr. frogs before I found the most caring and smart doctor and staff. I have had 3 other docs bf Dr. Torres and let me say she is the only one who Could figure out what was wrong with me. She has the most caring staff. They are polite and are really concerned for your well being as well. I am truly thankful that I have found such an amazing doctor and supportive staff. Thank you!

She caring and takes her time with you. I have a connective tissue disorder that onset after birth with my 2nd child. I broke out in hives and was sent to her by my ob and father in law who sees her Also. She is highly recommended. Very passionate about her job.

I have been her patient since 2011, she goes above and beyond. I can count on her to take the best care of me! She has an office wait but it’s so worth it to see her . I drive 2 hours to see her. I have tried doctors closer to me for my condition and hated them!!!!

Wait times are always excessive! Care is great and very empathetic. In this day and age waiting 2 and 3 hours from your scheduled appointment is ridiculous!

Dr. Torres is a great doctor and has a wonderful staff. She listens and has helped me tremendously.

I have being Doctor Torres patient for a couples of years now and I can't complaint about her professionalism, and experience.

If I could only give 0 stars... She misdiagnoses me, and when my wife who is a physician asks her if she could kindly order an MRI for me to confirm/clarify the diagnosis, she insults my wife in front of her by saying "Your wife knows nothing and can't understand this complicated situation, NO MRI IS NECESSARY" I was told later by an actual competent and knowledgeable doctor (imagine that!) that if an MRI would have been ordered, as my wife initially suggested, the diagnoses SHOULD HAVE been made correctly. Dr. Torres was a nightmare for me and my family. Because of her and her arrogance, I was forced to unnecessarily take dangerous medication that can cause lymphoma! I'm thankful for Dr. Brian Mckinley in Bradenton, who diagnosed me correctly and freed me, my husband, and our two children from this lady! Dr. Torres has been treating my mom, Amanda Angel, for nearly 5 years and does not stop speaking about how excellent her doctor is. Very humble, social, very optimistic and how she cares for her as a patient. I just hurt my knee and again my mom brought her up. I live in Broward and asked me to drive to see. Dr Torres is an excellent caring physician. Dr Torres doesn't treat you as though you are a number you are an individual patient whom she gets to know each and everyone by name. Dr Torres always goes above and beyond to help me she cares about my physical state as well as my mental state. She will spend limitless time with you she really shows she cares. To me the entire office team is amazing. Tina, Tammy, Jennifer and Sherry make you feel so very important and go above and beyond as well to ensure each and every patient are very important to them as well as Dr Torres. I had made an appointment three months prior, just to be notify the same day of appointment that the doctor was not going to be in the office. Would be rescheduled in three months. Very upsetting .

Guaranteed to wait 2+ hours. Super slow and did not get a follow up appt until 3 months later, only when there are other cancellations. The doctor is very thorough and great but maybe the scheduling needs to be better.

I've been seeing Dr. Torres for about a year. It took over 4 months for the initial appointment and usually at least 3 months wait for the following appointments. When you arrive, it's at least 1-2 hours or more wait each time. I think Dr. Torres is kind and seems empathetic to your needs. However, during my 2nd visit, after reviewing bloodwork and X-Rays, she determined my condition (even though nothing showed on my X-Rays). She prescribed me Enbrel which I used diligently for 3 months. It did not improve symptoms at all. After waiting months for another appointment, I was changed to Humira; which did not work for me either. I had to wait another 3-4 months to get another appointment with her...just for her to increase the dosage of the same drug..this did not work either. I feel that a determination of my condition was made too early. There was no MRI given after the X-ray did not show anything....just injections prescribed. No stretches suggested for me to try, no physical therapy to try, and no other medication prescribed to alleviate the pain - such as NSAIDs. I just had to keep dealing with it until I saw her on the next appointment. I was only given the option to inject biologic drug / TNF Blockers. I recently saw a chiropractor and he ordered an MRI first thing. He wondered why one was not already given. After learning from the Chiropractor that I have retrolisthesis of the spine, bulging discs, herniated discs, annular tears, etc., these issues were most likely causing my chronic back, neck, hip and feet pain. So I was injecting myself with these (not so safe) drugs most likely for no reason. I would have appreciated more thorough testing before making the final decision of my condition. I would have also appreciated more options to try to see if they helped improve symptoms - not just left for many months in pain. I've been seeing Dr. Torres for about a year. Wonderful doctor and staff. Dr. Torres genuinely cares about her patients and their wellbeing. She does not rush and will take as much time as each patient needs. She will develop a treatment plan that you agree with and get you feeling better. Dr Torres is the only rheumatologist that I will go to. I’ve been seeing her for since 2005. She explains everything that she tells you. She truly listens to every concern that you bring up. I have recommend her over and over again! Everyone that I’ve sent to her just loves her. She’s smart and definitely knows her business!

It takes forever to get an appointment, you wait hours, not one but 3, to see her with a scheduled appointment in the office even if it's the first appointment of the day and to top things off they cancel your appointment without warning then tell you you have to wait another 3 months. I called to confirm because they haven't called as they normally do and staff lies and says they have been trying to reach me and left messages. My phone says otherwise. The number was verified to be correct. Obviously, someone is lying. I'm in pain. I need to be seen.

After 11 years of increasing & odd aches, tingles, pains.... and after tears of "nothing found", "must be psychological", "probably stress", even a false diagnosis of FIBROMYALGIA, a ARNP recommended Dr. Torres. It was a 3 month wait for the first appointment, but worth it! 28 xrays, 8 vials of blood, detailed questions, physical exams of painful areas... and SO MUCH PATIENCE! 8 months in, a couple adjustments in meds and I feel better than I have in a decade! I have had multiple doctors over the last 5 years tell me " there is nothing wrong" " its all in your head" and even put me on anxiety and depression meds because it was in my head. Dr Torres Did blood work, a physical exam and xrays . 7 days later I had a diagnosis and answers to the issues I have. She is thorough and caring. Most of all she listened to me and didn't brush me off. I would and have reccomended her to others. Dr. Torres is a wonderful dr. And I go to plenty . She is very knowledgeable and caring. A wonderful mix. She treats you as a whole. Her wait times are long but she spends her undevided attention with you. She has been my rheumatologist for 16 years now. Her office staff is awesome. Highly recommended!??

I have Lupus(SLE)&Antiphospholipid syndrome.Two very serious diseases (condtions)I have been Dr A Torres patient for about 15 years or longer.She was my Grandmother's doctor until she passed away in 2006 and is my sister's doctor.I have tried other Rhematologist only because of the distance and driving time.But she is the absolute best doctor there is.She really cares about her patient's and tries to help In any way she can!!I don't just consider her a doctor!I consider her a friend!
