Dr. Alvin Man-Hao Ho

6 months ago I informed DR. Ho that I was sexually assaulted by an EMt. I have been trying to get insulin for a while now and I have not been able to get blood work. I went for a visit yesterday and Dr. Ho informed me he called the EMTs to hospitalize me. I have cats to feed and I cannot stay in a hospital. He then refused my insulin even after attempting to have EMTs touch me. Why?

Horrible excuse for a doctor and primary practice! Ho doesn't do his due diligence, doesn't manage a patient's health at all. He's definitely in the wrong field. Prescribes medication already prescribed by specialists causing additional health issues to the patient. My father's heath has deteriorated under his care despite my repeated calls of concern. When I finally traveled to SI to confront him on why he was prescribing certain medications, he past the buck on the last primary. I told him he cannot prescribe or refill medications blindly! When I asked him why he was on so many heart medications and if there was one he could eliminate he told me that would be the cardiologist's decision yet he was prescribing most of them! It did not make sense. He tried to rush me out the door as well. Ho saw my father multiple times last year and coded them all as follow-ups but never conducted a formal annual assessment. A good primary doctor should be be the manager of their patient's overall heath. You will not find someone like this at this practice. Do yourself or your loved one a favor and find a practice and doctor.

Best family doctor I ever have. Very nice and professional. He is very patient with all the questions I have. Highly recommend.
