Allston Julius Stubbs

Dr. Stubb's is an amazing Dr. I have suffered with hip pain for five years with a misdiagnosis of bursitis. Finally my Dr. ordered a MRI. I was referred to Dr. Stubb's, he looked at my MRI and noticed right away my problem! He has wonderful beside manner and explained the several options I had. In talking to him we came up with the best game plan on which I am very pleased with. While waiting to have my hip arthroscopy he took the time to show my husband the images of my hip and what he planned to do. While in there he discovered more and fixed everything, I am 2 weeks post op and while I was at a steady level 8 for pain and I am at about a 3. I can't thank him enough. I would recommend him to anyone! Great Dr. , Surgeon and bedside manner!

The best of the best! During my appointment to plan for hip surgery, I had two pages of questions. When Dr. Stubbs sat to talk with me, he answered every question before I said a word! I couldn't believe. My surgery went absolutely amazing and my hip is better than it has ever been. During a post-op appointment, he noticed I had a brace on my hand. He asked what happened and took the time to investigate the issue. He referred me to one of the best hand surgeons to fix the ongoing problem I have had with it. Also I mentioned the reason I had a brace on my thumb was to protect it while I was taking care of my dying grandmother in the hospital. He could see the stress that I was going through and took time to talk to me about it. He gave me great advice for taking care of myself physically and mentally. I kept telling him that I would shut up because I know doctors are high in demand during their work day. He told me not to worry about it. He look the time to listen to me and let me cry on his shoulder (figuratively). I never thought I would meet a doctor with the brains and heart like Dr. Stubbs. I can never thank Dr. Stubbs enough. His expertise in hip arthroscopic surgery is second to none. After two years of severe pain and many misdiagnosis, he found the cause of my pain in two minutes. He performed surgery on both hips and I am doing amazing! The throbbing, aching pain I suffered is gone. I give him the highest of recommendations. Thank you again to Dr. Stubbs for changing my life and getting me back on the golf course and the ski slopes. You’re the best!!!!

Terrible experience with Dr. Stubbs. I had long waits, he wouldnt explain info in a way that was understandable for a non-medical professional, he pushed Valium on me after I told him that my body does not react well to it, and he did not fully examine my condition before determining I needed hip surgery. I went to see him 8 months post-op bc I was still having pain, he spent 10 minutes with me and wouldnt even consider my pain was a result of his surgery. I met another person w/ same experience
