He fills my pump and the reason some do not he just does not give out meds. He makes you do a urine check and if you do not want to be high all the time, he is easy to get to know.

On my first consult with Dr. Sloan I left the office completely satisfied with the level of true caring he showed me. He devoted a great amount of time in this consult, allowing me to completely express what my complaints & concerns were. He gave me very useful medical explanations as to why I was feeling the way I do & provided me with options to relieve my pain. Thusfar have seen improvement. His empathy is STELLAR!! The staff there have the same level of caring. I would highly recommend Dr. Sloan if you are truly looking for pain relief. He's a keeper in my book!! I would give no stars if possible!!!I went to this man for pain management, he gave me 2 different pain meds. He also started giving me medicine in my back for pain. Most pain drs give you urine tests when you are on medications to make sure you are following instructions. He only gave 2 urine test one when I first started and the other one on the day of procedure. On Oct 2 2019 this man gave me an overdose which ended up with Ambulance being called and with EMT's having to do CPR which led to 3 cracked ribs. Please beware of Sloan find another Pain Dr. And to add insult to injury he called me the next day not to see how I was but to say EMS should not had done CPR. So I did not get a sorry for what happen how are you, but I will see you on your next appointment for real, you just gave me an overdose and you think I am coming back? Please Please Proceed with Caution!!!!!!

The staff is awesome & I like everyone there. They are always willing to work with me if I need an unscheduled appointment; they're just all around great at helping me with about anything I need.

My husband is a patient of Dr. Sloan, and he has been absolutely amazing! If you are an addict who is seeking pain meds, then you are wasting your time with Dr Sloan. From the past reviews, you can know what kind of response you will receive if you are seeking drugs to misuse. Dr Sloan has no tolerance for this type of behavior, nor does he believe in simply masking your pain without proactively treating the cause of it. My husband went to a few doctors, seeking a solution and pain management for his ankles. Not only did Dr. Sloan immediately get him on medication to help relieve the pain, but he also aggressively found a surgeon that could work on his ankles, so tgat he coukd live a normal and productive life asap! Lst year my husband had bone on bone with no cartiledge left, and walked as if he were 90, instead of 45. Dr Sloan made sure that ankle fusions were done as quickly as possible, and because of this, my husband is a new man!

Mood SWINGS & horrible anger management issues . Do NOT say injections dont seem to help . He will FLIP out on you. I was being scheduled for a pain pump when i changed drs to him (due to ins changes ). He refused to do the pump saying it wouldn't be beneficial to my problems. I did tests and exams for 6+months to determine that it WOULD help before seeing him . He only wants to do steroid injections regardless if they help . I assume he makes most of his $ on injections. Don't believe me...... try to cancel or change your injection appt OR tell him they didn't help. Prepare to be attacked and ridiculed for everyone to see/hear.

Dr Sloan has treated me for years. I respect his honesty and he has been the only Dr who really seems to care about helping you. I hope he stays in business for many years to come.

I've been going to Dr. Sloan for over a year now and have zero complaints. He has been the only doctor I've been to that has been able to completely get me to the zero pain level after injections. He listens to everything I have to say and I must say we get along better than I originally thought we would. I've moved away now and truly regret that I'm going to try a change in doctors, but the round trip drive is just getting to be too much. Does not show a lot of care towards his patients if not for nice Wife and staff I would get a new pain Doctor. All he cares is about giving to much meds for serious conditions. So bad the conditions would leave him in the clear. Just want to get his time. Know care for others. Oh he would see if he did not have the great Wife and staff.

I was a Patient of Dr.Sloan for a short time my first visit was very wierd I was put through all of these up and down tests to prove to him that I am actually in pain never mind all my MRI reports showing him the 3 herniated and 3 bulging discs I have from my neck down to my lumbar spine everytime I tried to explain to him how I was feeling he knocked me my pain level down telling me I can't be feeling this I cant be feeling that knowing of the difficulty of finding a doctor now of days I procee

High drama and mood swings. This can't be natural. Dr. Sloan really needs to talk to a professional.

I would strongly advise anyone not to see dr Sloan, he is full of the devil, he has no care for you whatsoever. Don't care how much pain you are in!!!

I have not had any problems with him or the staff they are actually a very nice friendly office ... I'm always treated with sincere kindness ... my treatment plan works GREAT for me and I have no complaints ... I have been a patient of Dr Sloan for over 4 years and I think he is a great Dr. who actually listens when your talking to him about what your their for. I was just there yesterday for treatment their, he took care of all the things that I needed on that day . He has been a God send for me. People even Dr.s should be allowed to have a bad day, they are human also. He does have to deal with pill junkies who lose their meds or eat the pills up before it's time for refills. So he has to deal with these maniacs, and these are mainly the people that report him when he will not refill scripts early when there is something odd about the situation of their pills being empty way before time to get refill. Everyone is allowed their own opinion and here is mine for a good Dr who does listen and does take care of me and the pain issues I have, he goes above and beyond to help me and if its something he can't do he will do his best to try to help you find the right Dr. that can help you. I have been going to Dr. Sloan for about 10 years now and I have to say he is one of the best. He will work with you to help any way he can. If you are just looking for a handful of pills I would not recommend him to you. Looking at some of the negative reviews I have to believe these were people who just wanted a blank script pad! I have been a patient of Dr. Sloan for years now. He san be firm but only when patients dont follow directions with taking their medz, drinking alcohol, refusing urine test, etc.. I never heard Dr. Sloan yell at any of his parents be stern, yes & they yelled at him because they wanted a refill but non of prescribed rx showed up in urine test. Not to drag this out to much not every doctor is fit for you, not every doctor has the perfect bedside manner,the bottom line is does his treatment for you

I have heard this guy bring elderly wemen to tears .His MO is getting his patients dependent on stronge narcitucs , and then reqiureing them to submit to procedures that do not help ,or are nkt even related to your pain. If you question him he will act phycktic and will tell you he will cht the medicine off that he has got yiu hooked on, knowing you will suffer terrible withdrawls. If you want to be YELLED At, go see this clown. Bedside manner. What bedside manner. Hitler, would've been proud of this JERK. He has no understanding whatsoever of physical dependency actually HURTINactuallWorried about himself and his practice, I came 3rd. I took it for 5 weeks and just 3 visits. NO MORE!!! How he stays in practice, it's baffling to me. I got out of there before he killed me. A Doctor doesn't yell at his patients like this one does. Never seen anything like it.

I agree with previous reviews about Dr. Sloan. I witnessed him yelling at a patient in the reception area. He talks down to you and is absolutely the most obnoxious doctor I have ever encountered. I only went there for an initial appointment but there is no way I would ever let him treat me or any member of my family. I will not recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Sloan thinks his patients can read his mind. When I was unable to make ONE appt I called well in advance and was told if I didn't make it, Dr Sloan would not see me for RX renewal. Because I missed this appt, I did go thru withdrawal stopping morphine cold turkey.
