BE VERY CAREFUL!!! This doctor saw my daughter for nearly 5 min He didn’t bother to look at her MRI or any other exams like X-rays. Didn’t order any MRI OR ANYTHING. He said she needs surgery as soon as possible and she will need to stay in a cast for 8 weeks. Well , after a second opinion with an excellent hand specialist who ordered the right MRI it turned out that she didn’t need surgery at all or any other treatment for this matter. So , don’t be impress for Harvard Graduated!!! He was going to put my daughter to a total necessary suffering and maybe damage her hand further and put her on a cast for 8 weeks , she would had to drop from school for not being able to write. All this totally unnecessary and putting her at risk. I am very mad to know that are doctors out there like him that have no ethic or morals and total disregard of the human suffer for Finacial benefits. Doctors should be healers that’s what they signed up for. Sham on you!!!! Dr. Liu is all around great! He’s very communicative and has always treated me very well.

Completely unprofessional. Touched my open wounds with bare hands and proceeded to rip the wound open "on accident" Criticized the fact that I couldn't afford many options out of pocket. Told me that surgery was my choice, even though I payed for a professionals opinion, because it "didn't bother him either way." Of course not, it's my injury and I'm the one in the pain. And with each concern told me "not to worry about it," such as the infection I was experiencing or the fact that he told me to keep stitches in longer than they should have and I had to go get them urgently removed because they grew into my muscle which any longer would have required surgery for removal. His team was equally as rude and disrespectful. No one listened to me or my concerns. Do not come here, you'll regret it.

Dr. Lui's repair of my broken wrist is the closet thing to miracle I've ever experienced. My radius split down the middle about 5 inches and the ulna broke in two. I had serious concerns about the future use of that arm, but after basic physical therapy function was back to normal. Absolutely amazing!

My daughter was in for hand surgery last week and she said he was so rude to her before her surgery that he made her cry, the anesthesiologist came in and asked her why she was crying and if it was because she was nervous and she told him yes because she was embarrassed to tell him that Dr. Liu had made her cry. My daughter nearly cut her entire thumb off and thankfully Dr. Liu was able to reattach. We are so grateful for Dr. Liu's expertise in hand surgery. If you are looking for a hand surgeon look no further. I see some of the reviews that he was uncaring or did not answer enough questions. In my opinion, I think he is very busy and straight to the point. I would definitely recommend Dr.Liu to friends and family.

My son had a traumatic hand injury leading to a complex and intense series of surgeries to salvage and rebuild what was viable. Dr Liu, Dr Mirrer, Amber and the rest of their team have been outstanding with their skills, professionalism and time spent explaining options and answering questions. I pray you never have the misfortune of a traumatic hand injury, but count yourself blessed if this team happens to be on call at the hospital you’re transported to.

Dr Liu saved my son's hand. It was crushed by a boulder. There was a strong change that he was going to loose the hand. Today 6 months post multiple surgeries, my son has full function of his and all fingers.

8:30a.m I was scheduled for an appointment fell asleep in the chair waiting an hour and in an hour and a half they took 3 x Ray pictures of my hand it's 10:09 and im still waiting just to get 1 pin pulled out if my hand.hoq long does it usually take!!??

Dr. Allen Liu is the best hand Surgeon in AZ. I was involved in an accident, and the last thing I heard was, "We're gonna have to amputate." I came out of surgery with my hand and arm intact. I was outfitted with a cadaver nerve, a skin graft off my thigh for my arm and some synthetic skin for my hand (it was degloved). 4 years later and I cannot believe the results. I have full use of my arm and hand. Thank You Dr. Liu and the staff at Scottsdale trauma for everything. You all are great! Dr. Allen Liu is the best hand Surgeon in AZ. Dr. Liu is absolutely wonderful. His skills as a surgeon are exemplary! Three years ago I cut through two of my nerves and a vein. I was supposed to have no function or feeling whatsoever. In the beginning, I couldn't even make a fist. Today, I can do nearly everything and it's all thanks to Dr. Liu and his recommendations.

Dr Lui did not give any details before or after my son's surgery. When we went to our appointment after surgery we waited over two hours, and the PA didn't have the chart and was just going off what Dr Lui was texting. Still no details or information given to us about recovery for the next surgery.

I've never felt so dismissed in my life! Literally, not one person asked me how I felt or how I was doing. The Dr spent maybe 45 seconds with me and then rushed out. I will be taking my own stitches out as I am completely done with bad doctors. Doctors are supposed to care and this one does not. If you can go anywhere else, do it!

Great with my daughter who lost some of her fingers in an accident. Helpful and kind to her and answered questions from us with out any rush.

I want to get a hold of Dr. Liu - not sure he will see this. He performed a miracle on my son's hand. My son and our entire family are beyond grateful. Dr. Liu is a gifted surgeon. He may be the best there is in Arizona. We are so blessed that he is my son's hand surgeon!!!!!

This doctor was so rude, no empathy, compassion. He was rushed to get my aunt out of the room. It was so disappointing. I hope he learns how to be a better person. Have a heart!
