Echoing what my sister said (Tricia Buell) my father has alot of comorbitiies and the last surgeon didn't even want to touch him. Dr. Hamdan recently did an angiogram on my father. My father has dealt with claudication pain for a long time d/t blockages. He was able to fix the problem that other vascular surgeons were not able to do. It’s so nice to hear that a lot of his pain is resolving. Thank you Dr. Hamdan and staff!

Dr Hamdan refused to see me after I was referred to him by PCP at BIDMC. Complicated issue yes - but he refused care sight unseen... Thanks Doc!

I saw Dr. Hamden in March 2020; referred by my pcp because of head and neck cat scan showing blockage of carotid arterlies in neck. Dr. Hamden said I had 100% blockage in one artery and 50% blocka. ge in the other. I asked about stent surgery, he just ignored what I was asking about. He told me to continue taking cholesterol medicine to prevent heart attack or stroke. My pcp could have given me the same advice. Waste of my time. Deserves zero stars. I was referred to Dr Hamdan by PCP to evaluate a complicated vascular issue. He declined to see me personally, I saw him just strolling around the office meanwhile. I was desperate for help and he chose to go the defensive route and ignore me - he's a brave doctor, lol Thanks doc!

Has zero bedside manor. Has a rude attitude. Did not listen to me about my veins. He has the personality of an undertaker. I forgot to mention his front desk clerk as rude as he was.

I am not sure why this place received negative review. First of all i had to reschedule my appointment twice last minute and they didnt charge me any fee and still accommodated me. I came here today for my appointment, filled my papers and after 5 mins they checked me in. April was very friendly and professional. She's nice and was quick on doing my test as well. Kathleen was also professional, she explained my condition very well. Gave me tips and answered all my questoins. Lastly, Carla was very quick on putting my next appointmentment and asked me if theres anything else she can help me with. I definitely reccommend this place. Be aware that a fellow performs procedure instead 'high ranking' surgeon. I had chosen Dr. Hamdan assuming that he would be the one who performs the surgery! Don't have your expectations high :-(

Waited close to an hour in the exam room while the staff and Dr. had a party (not kidding, with cake and everything). I finally walked down the hall in my johnny to the check-in area to voice my displeasure. His assistant, Margaret, is VERY rude and was very curt with me on the phone. I couldn't get another vascular surgeon who would take my insurance, so I did have my surgery with him. I'll give him this: he IS a talented surgeon.

I had leg surgery years ago with Dr. Hamden and will be having more soon again. my primary refers me to him and I like him very much.
